Actually, the more i think about this, the less i like it. Not out of loyalty for Warren, but the reasons (at least to us) don't seem to warrant this response. We the members, voted for him and we need a much better justification than the crap offered atm. Sets a precedence, I dont like. 100% Warren was voted in as a reponse by members to show our dissatisfaction of the current board. So what did they do first chance

Today's editorial was much as expected, full of sneering innuendo and predictable conclusions. The article on p2

referenced the investigation being launched after The Jewish Council of Australia complained of far right & anti-semitic

conspiracy theories being aired on his podcast. This council is certainly active, a hallmark of their MO here and in

America is for their targets to have their employment targeted. Is this why Traders lost his AA gig?

As REH alluded to there's more acts to play out in this melodrama.

I was all ready to re-join the fold after 3yrs but dumping a member elected board member has got me um'ing and agh'ing.

He’s a lunatic but he didn’t deserve to be sacked. I think it will play out well anyway, as Hinkley is now gone and Tredrea might now be in a position to put heat on an unaccountable board and Chairman.

It's certainly confronting at times when you see seemingly logical, rational, intelligent people puppet or support absolute tripe.

OK, so Tredders didn't say anything 'wrong' but he has a podcast where he had a bloke on who said a few 'wrong' things. That's a bit too much. Surely, he could sue the club for that. I don't think he would though.

I had a look at the other guests on the podcast. Tredders is just doing his best to find the truth. When you do that, you're always going to get in trouble eventually because whenever you find out the truth about the powers that be, it's usually pretty damn ugly.

There is a reason that a lot of investigative journalist find an early grave.

He never said he supported the idiot's views.

That said, pull in your ego and do what you're asked. Life is filled with many, many situations that you feel you have the moral high ground, and are prepared to defend your position.

Ultimately, you often have to concede to do things you may disagree with. But if you keep on sticking your head up and complaining, they'll eventually chop your head right off.

for a number of years and since Covid a different aspect of Warren's character has emerged. The Warren I know was always polite and well mannered and he appeared pretty level headed. That said Warren is entitled to his views and entitled to take a stand on matters that are important to him and I can see his point of view in this matter even though I do not agree with the views expressed by guest such as AJ Roberts on Warren's podcast.

It is sad that this sordid affair has had to end the way it has but maybe it hasn't? What is to stop Warren Tredrea

The other thing is, whatever his true beliefs and motives are, he’s incredibly sloppy for someone with decades of media experience.

I’ll always love the guy as a footballer and I think a lot of his problems stem from being led astray by his Yoga/Moonbeam second wife, but fmd.
