As it's the last H@A game of the S40 season I thought it would be a good time to have one last chat with the Hawks captain Callums_Guns and the Royals captain GreyCrow to see what they think about their opposition and reflect on the game ahead.

Tigerturbulance: Hawks are coming second on the ladder how has your team prepared for the bottom placed Royals?
Callums_Guns: To be honest this week maybe a last minute team sheet where we manage some of the team, they haven't had much of a break the past year and half and against the Royals maybe the perfect opportunity to freshen up but we will call the ball later in the week
Tigerturbulance: What have you emphasized in practice this week?
Callums_Guns: Recovery, recovery and recovery. You wouldn't happen to know where we can get some compression boots that would fit a goat or cat, Tarks and C2R have done a huge amount of work in the middle this season.
Tigerturbulance: Royals have shown alot of weakness this season, what if any strengths do you think the Royals may have, and what areas are you focused on the Hawks improving?
Callums_Guns: Strength is their ruck, which should be a great contest between TY24 and GreyCrow . But outside of that on-field they have struggled but to be honest happy they can at least provide that heading into the finals.
Tigerturbulance: Are there any Hawk players who have stepped up in practice this week or who you expect to have a big impact on the game?
Callums_Guns: It's just load management this week, keeping everybody fresh as we embark on the final series to become the first team to ever win a 3peat
Tigerturbulance: What are your initial thoughts on the struggling Royals and where do you think you can gain an advantage against the Royals?
Callums_Guns: Off-field well lead but on-field no leaders. Sunday is where it matters especially this time of year. As for gaining advantage it just depends which way we head into Sunday, 5+ changes or we keep sticking to plan.
Tigerturbulance: How do you plan to attack the Royals defense/offense?
Callums_Guns: They have the worst backs in the league, with holes like that it's little wonder why they have leaked so many goals this season.
Tigerturbulance: What are the most important elements of your game plan and what does a win in this game mean for your team's season?
Callums_Guns: No injuries and no suspensions, we need everyone 100% ready for next week, we've said all season a double chance is key but the real season starts next week.

Tigerturbulance: How has your team prepared for the highly ranked Hawks, what have you emphasized in practice this week to try and salvage a win?
GreyCrow: Practice? We don’t need no steenking practice
Tigerturbulance: What do you see as the Hawks biggest strengths coming into this game, and what areas are you focused on improving?
GreyCrow: The Hawks have a solid core group of players who we always have to keep an eye on. We need to structure up better. We have been tinkering with our line up all year and we hope we have it right and ready for finals
Tigerturbulance: Are there any players who have stepped up in practice this week or who you expect to have a big impact on the game?
GreyCrow: We have been blessed with the arrival of Robertio and everyone has lifted accordingly.
Tigerturbulance: Where do you think you can gain an advantage against the highly favored Hawks?
GreyCrow: Money. The Gold City Royals have more money
Tigerturbulance: How do you plan to attack the Hawks solid defense/offense? What are the most important elements of your game plan?
GreyCrow: Kick it to Brenton Davy and Crimson Azure and sit back and cash in.
Tigerturbulance: Your dead last and going nowhere, what does a win in this game actually mean for your team's season?
GreyCrow: We play Finals - end of. Nothing else matters.
