Actually further. I live just north of LA and measured the distance from my suburb.I thought LA was closer to SF than that
California is surprisingly large. Been there a couple of times and getting from one end to the other is a hell of a hikeActually further. I live just north of LA and measured the distance from my suburb.
I drove up there and back around 5-6 weeks ago. Drove up the Pacific coast (had to do a big detour around areas closed from landslides) and then back down through Sequoia.
Had one overnight stay on both drives.
Could have done both drives without a stop but there's too much to see.

Yeah I saw the waymo while I was in town on monday. Kinda freaky these self driving cars.Rain will hit us tonight and stay for several days.
Have you had a chance to look around San Francisco? I actually really liked it I'd want a place with secure parking though if I lived there.
I left my car in the hotel parking on all but one day (when we wanted to cover a lot of different places) and took Uber and Waymo everywhere on the other days.
Which reminds me, take at least one trip in a Waymo. It's great. You have to be in San Franciso though. They won't cross the bridge to Dublin.
It is now.Sweet Prince?
Is that the Royals recruitment pitch?![]()

Interesting. Never heard of Byrne, but not from a county well known for footballers. I read Tuohy's book and he wanted to be a professional sportsman from a young age, so he seemed to have the right mindset.Jinny Stynes definitely deserved his Brownlow and i was a fan of Setanta they just couldn't find his right position but without a doubt the best Irish player we had at Carlton was Ciaran Byrne he just couldn't adapt to the Melbourne lifestyle.

I remember reading an artical on Toohey when we recruited him where he said he would swim to Melbourne to be a professional sportsman, he really wanted it so he took it.Interesting. Is Melbourne the Australian version of 1980s era Beirut or something? A few Paddies who came home after a trial or couple of years at clubs based there. Probably the uncouth kinds.![]()
When I was walking out of the stadium, through those tunnels they used to have, we were walking past Melbourne supporters in clusters crying in group hugs. Consoling themselves with Oh Well at least we still have Robbie Flow.... Oh crap...I still remembet them panning to Melbourne supporters crying after the game.
Oh well. They got their moment in 2021. You have to feel sorry for them though that their first flag in however many years had to be played outside Victoria. When I was walking out of the stadium, through those tunnels they used to have, we were walking past Melbourne supporters in clusters crying in group hugs. I felt like a Hobbit/Halfling next to the trees at Sequoia.
They're great. THey have heaps of them. Never had to wait long for one to come after booking one on the app.Yeah I saw the waymo while I was in town on monday. Kinda freaky these self driving cars.
There must be a hell of a lot of people in the SFA feeling like Princes at the moment.Haven't we sent a pitch to you yet mate? I thought everyone had one.
