Not to mention 1.4 million in the first year alone. Payday Ah Chee ! Front loading is always a risk considering his wife is from Gold Coast / QLD and it leaves a family reason open to go back. For now, Crom have to do whatever they need to so he can fall through PSD to them.

No one is arguing that getting cheap academy, along with father & son prospects makes life much easier to build a winning squad.

What your fathers have no sons? Or are they just rubbish. Academies have just added talent to the pool in what was a non-AFL state, freeing up other selections; and the cost of running the academies never gets mentioned when whining about their effectiveness.

There is still always plenty of talent going around you just have to recognize it, like Zac Baille, Kai Lohman and especially Logan Morris falling to pick 31. Perhaps you should turn the spotlight on your own back yard, your recruiting department, instead of moaning about how unfair life is.

Anyways we have served you well with our leavings. Keys, Hinge and now Cal, you should be more grateful.

The costs of academies gets discussed, it’s a fraction of the extra 10m Brisbane get a year in distributions compared to most other clubs.

Yeah we have an Academy but unlike your mob and other Northern states when if comes to the draft they go into the open draft and can be picked by all AFL clubs. Just minor differences hey. You're full of it.

I'd rather save the cap space for someone else. We need defenders way more than what Ah Chee's role would be. And I'd spend draft capital on that need.
