I will kick it off again

Not sure what our club is doing.

here are some suggestions.

trade our future second for Brisbanes first they got from Hawthorn.

Why do it?? chance to get a better player that slides/we like to RFC this year after our top two picks. Why Brisbane do it?? they get a future second. picks get chewed up by their academy anyway. Why Brisbane would not do it?? dunno, any suggestions?? do not have all the info

we do not know who we are getting next year, especially in terms of cost, and we have flexibility with future 2027 and 2028 picks anyway if it comes to that

tell me where I am going wrong.

after the national draft starts a club can have more picks than positions available on the night in the run, but not before the national draft begins?

so at the moment we have 3,4,38, 68. and one position for a rookie?? is that right??

okay here is a suggestion.


trade 2027 future second and trade trade 2028 future second to Brisbane prior to pick 3(aka after West Coast) for us and we get pick 17 from Brisbane via Hawthorn and pick 23 from Brisbane via West Coast. We on trade these to picks to CFC for pick 9 and we get Carlton's pick 43 from Hawthorn. more points to CFC

We trade pick 9 we got from CFC to Gold Coast for 15 and 36 and we say not bidding on their players

trade 15 to Brisbane and get our 2028 future second back from Brisbane maybe something else and say not bidding on Annable

later on trade picks to GC for futures to help them match as pick value from CFC and GC improved as moved forward from other bidding and matching beforehand

You can’t trade 2028 picks so everything you typed after that was more of a waste of time than normal.

We fabricated the fact we couldn't meet the Cummings during the year, not an issue for any other club?? Read between the very simple lines, we like the boy. I'd be stoked if we took him, has speed and explosiveness - also has great bottom year pedigree (MVP SA and his GF Game) which our recruiters have said they value, great top age form too. I for one, would be stoked if we took Robey & Cumming. Both multiple position players, but Robey more forward and Cumming more mid.
