1) You don't get onto the NDIS for depression...that country bloke has more going on than that
2) That person driving him is his support worker...are disabled people NOT allowed to live life with dignity?
3) Assuming they're honest about how they use their funds, those home games are NOT paid for with NDIS funds.

I can speak with authority on this, being on NDIS myself.

I have someone who drives me to different sports games...they are paid for that purpose. I do NOT use NDIS funds to attend games, though.

Any games I go to are paid for by myself out of my own money.

Yeah, I have some experience with this as well - and while there are rorts and crooks in the NDIS system, the same is true of basically everything.

This sounds like an example of trying to help someone enjoy something close to a normal life, which would be difficult without the support workers involvement.

My anxiety is through the roof because of my leg issues and I need help getting out of venues at concerts as the slightest loud bang can make me have a fall. I definitely think they’ve overlooked my issues. I’m always anxious going on my own particularly on trains when my balance is also an issue

Do you do balance exercises? I had to go to a physio after a series of operations and after he got me going he commented how poor my balance and proprioception was.

I now do appropriate exercises and I now put my underpants on easily. You can do the exercises standing in a queue. Any where really.

See a physio or look the exercises up on line. My physio started me on easier ones and gradually gave me harder ones until he told me to bugger off as he could do no more for me. I was that good!!!!!

Maybe we should tax quooty? All profits from the existing teams should be taxed should be taxed at 50 per cent.

But what about deductions for....

Yes but I also have a chronically dislocated kneecap which may have contributed indirectly to my balance issues.

My GP has recommended me getting hydrotherapy if I get on the NDIS. I’m not sure of the costs though if I go this outside of this

I broke my ankle because my body moved to one side and I couldn’t grab anything and rolled my ankle.

I didn’t realised I had broken it until I had the scans
