That's about the most sensible post you make on here.Going...Going...Going.....Going
There are other considerations which come into play. The big one at the moment is Callum Ah Chee shares the same manager as Nasiah Wanganeen Milera; who it feels like the SA football world is waiting to hit free agency in two years. On top of that there are mechanisms in place that allow Ah Chee and his management to veto any PSD pick and force his way to Adelaide. It's a fair bit of risk for what could be a mid-second round pick.
So you think another club will pony up a heavily front loaded contract for a player that doesn't want to be there? No chance that happens.By Veto powers I assume you mean he sits out from all AFL for 12 months? As that’s what happens if he rejects to join any club that selects him.
Theres no such thing as veto powers over a draft pick. He can set his contract terms but any club willing to take that on can select him.

The question was about veto powers. So you think another club will pony up a heavily front loaded contract for a player that doesn't want to be there? No chance that happens.
Wouldn't be a smart move re working with Ben Williams who manages a lot of the top end players.
I might be going but you've been gone...goner... for a long time TuggaYou're a bit of a laughing stock on here.
Going, going, going.....

Nothing wrong with giving back to the minnow clubs. If anything, Adelaide fans should be on their knee's thanking us.Brisbane really over played this one.
Drunk on post flag arrogance.

Wouldn't be a smart move re working with Ben Williams who manages a couple of the top end players.
Only time will tell thatEFA, he's just glad a few more people know his name now, for being a pratt who can't get the job done.
More thoughtful and insightful posting I see.![]()

"They will hold over a list spot to be used in the pre-season draft on Friday where they will look to finally land Brisbane's Callum Ah Chee, with no other clubs doing medicals or requesting information on his nominated financial terms. "
Looking very much like Crows list manager Justin Reid has played his hand well.
Finally a Lions supporter getting the fact Ambrogio was outplayed by Justin Reid. I mean a Lions player Ambrogio is on record to have wanted to keep and he's got nothing in return. Finally, a Crom supporter admitting the truth.
Pretty stupid decision really. Finally a Lions supporter getting the fact Ambrogio was outplayed by Justin Reid. I mean a Lions player Ambrogio is on record to have wanted to keep and he's got nothing in return.

We can afford to let some go we have a whole team of them.Feels good to get a 2x premiership player for free

He can thank Brisbane for that - they’re the ones who made it painful. No doubt Ah Chee has enjoyed his first few weeks with the Crows since trade period and would recommend the experience to other players considering a move to the crows![]()
Correct, they held a player to ransom and received nothing, laughable behavior reallyHe can thank Brisbane for that - they’re the ones who made it painful.
