Thank-you for the lols. Good-luck with re-signing Bailey.
Lmao. So your move is to bring up completely unrelated (and true) to the discussion? Yeah nice one you totally got me.Reminds me of Adelaide's attempts to pretend they'd decide to pass on Oliver, when instead he just didn't want to go there when anywhere else became an option.

But I thought our offer was pick 40? So you must think we're going to be at the pointy end, no?Thanks for the kind words champ. Good luck winning a final next year.
Huh? So you don't value first-rounders as high end talent? Then why were you asking for one? Oh and I thought Ah Chee was a finals superstar? Wasn't he like, super influential and unlucky to miss out on the norm smith or something?Thank you for the support. Much needed & appreciated.
We've struggled of late retaining required high end talent.....
no wait.......

Maybe you should start supporting GWS if you're so obsessed with him.Which one of these two is Oliver?
What? No, free as delist himself and West Coast draft him in the PSD.
What?No that was doedee when you outbid us for an rfa and we got pick 19
You can take another fringe player for minimal cost next year if it gives you your jollies, we’ll stick to winning finals with guys who want to play for usDon't get too cocky, it could blow up in your face.
Even if we don't get him, at least we will drive up the price you have to pay to keep him, making it harder for you to keep other good players coming out.
Well I have read some rubbishI get why you talk about salt a lot, most of your filthy water that comes out of Victorian and NSW sewerage plants via the Murray is so salt heavy you can float a rock on it. Shame that desal plant keeps getting put back, such a winning state.
Actually though, you've given me a lot of new ammunition there about boring, old serial killers, must make a note of that; oh wait lost interest.
So, the premier team of a minnow state, who is now the most successful of the millennia, and is debt free with a burgeoning membership base got there on handouts? Not a well administrated, resourced and coached club with viral father sons?
Collingwood had three F/S plus an NGA at their last premiership; I guess they were handouts too?
It's the toxic water in SA that causes all your F/S to be stunted, it's not our fault, don't whine fix the water ffs.
And here’s moreCal who?
I dare you to do this for the entire 365 days lol.Days since Ah Chee has become the highest paid Adelaide player for 2026 season with $1.4M !!

Based on our contract offer he wasn’t someone we would move heaven and earth to keep. The salary cap doing its thing reallyDom didn't think he was fringe player that's for sure and certain.
We didn’t want a first round pick, it was a pick slide from 16 to 23 plus a future second. Values him somewhere around pick 25 which would have been fair IMOBrisbane wanted a 1st round pick- can understand why given the quality (lack of) of this draft but he's not worth a 1st round pick. The Crows wanted to take a player in the first round this year and rightfully so with so much SA talent so didn't want to part with a 1st which was wise.
Can see both sides of the perspective on this one. It's just one of those weird ones that was impossible to reach a satisfactory trade for both teams.
Crows benefit with a solid acquisition for no draft capital. Brisbane free some cap and it allows them to fit in a other highly talented kid into their best 22. The banter between Brissy and Crom supporters has been entertaining though.
So Dom speaks with weasel words, I don't think he's that kind of guy, he just got bested this time by Justin Reid.Based on our contract offer he wasn’t someone we would move heaven and earth to keep. The salary cap doing its thing really
Wow, what a rant! That would have meant we would have missed out on Mitch Marsh... so was never an option. We didn’t want a first round pick, it was a pick slide from 16 to 23 plus a future second. Values him somewhere around pick 25 which would have been fair IMO

The Crows have stacks of room. Putting up $1.5m for Bailey won't be an issue at all.Bailey's open market value is way more than either of us can afford, there are some massive war chests out there. If he goes for money neither of us get a look in.
