McGrath is their vice captain so he's probably the next captain based on the fact that he has some previous leadership experience, is a senior player, and is not actively trying to escape to a more competent club.
The rest of the leadership group last year was Merrett (tried very hard to leave), Redman (reports that agent was asking around about trade interest during the season but didn't get any nibbles), Kyle Langford
(missed a lot of games last year through injury) and Nic Martin (torn ACL, likely to miss at least half of next season).
Maybe someone like Sam Durham or Peter Wright, I have no idea about their leadership though. It's slim pickings (although our captain might be a guy we just traded for last year, so it's not like we're really overflowing with great leadership either).
