Feels like there’s a lot of excitement (going by posts) for our other draftees but a bit less so for Nairn.

Nairn could be an absolute weapon in our system. We don’t really have hff or wings (ex weddle when he plays there) with his marking power. Nairn pushing up ground and back into f50 could be a real handful. He’s fearless running back with flight and very clean overhead.

Lots of potential here.

Best of luck to Cam in times to come. Watching some footage of his performances suggests he would be well placed to play on the Wing/HF. Look forward to seeing him develop over time and hopefully become a regular senior player for the mighty hawks.

Just on the Wing role.. LeRay, our last pick in draft is the one half of the killer wing duo for SA in champs games, the other one being Harley Barker who was picked by cats.

Nairn is going to have stiff competition if he gonna play wing, may the best person win that role.

I'm projecting and all, but it would be great to see both Weddle and Nairn spend time on a wing. Both can run all day, are quality users, are very strong overhead and are goal threats.

Not necessarily an area of need for us right now but could see Nairn becoming an intercepting 3rd defender with the ability to slice teams open with his penetrating left foot..

Going by the relative lack of attention for this guy vs other draftees, it's obvious to me he will play 250 games, kick +400 goals, and spend his whole career defying calls for him to become a midfielder.
I honestly see him Blake Hardwick 2.0.

Recruited as a forward, excellent in the air, looks tough as nails.

Added bonus on top of all that is apparently he's a very good runner too.

His going to be so good 😭

Reckon he will end up being an all rounder, suits almost any position, and working up the ground kicking to shuuu is going to be very damaging

Interesting.
Hardwick would have been a very good forward but he settled as an elite defender first, so he stayed there.

Nairn could become anything, but I see him as a forward/mid first.
It would be a surprise to see him settle in defence.

I'm not sure what it is - maybe the haircut - but he gives me Zach Bailey vibes. Agree with CAI and Burner, he hasn't quite had the fanfare of some of the other draftees but I reckon he will be a beauty. Hardest thing might be finding his best postion!
