I went to the dentist today, then to the pub with a visiting mate for some celebrity quaffing.

Post dentist anesthetic videos is an entire genre but I don't know that anyone has thought to merge them with talking at the pub

Hey , when did denistry personnel become the deciplles of upselling? Went for a professional clean yesterday(did this start as an add on?) booked in as such. Get to the chair and the dentist wants to do checks. xray's, bit of this extra fries, yada yada, yada.

Get's snarky when the work is limited to the clean. Spins some sort of words around you won't be covered if something goes wrong.

Mate, if something goees wrong, gob wise, I'll book an appointment and a dentist can go to work. Charge like the Wounded Bull synomomus with the industry. But for now, give me your best clean.

Plus it’s difficult to launch a counter attack when your mouth is prised open with swabs, screeching brushes, drills and those weird rubber mats (weren’t a thing when I was a kid - the dentist just launched an assault on spec and you just hoped they had the correct tooth).

They love a good scan - tooth X-ray thing whatever that is because it heaps dollars on the bill and takes them less than 10 minutes.

Don’t let them put on the Netflix doco about centipedes

It's a great musical and a lot of fun. Mrs m was in a version some years ago.

I loved it.

Saw it via a nice primary school teacher dragging us into the library to sit cross-legged on the floor and watched. We were transported.

Success went to her head a bit though and she showed us One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest a few weeks later. I don’t personally have a problem with that type of literary education but golly there were a fair few parents who suddenly got interested in attending the ACT Education Board meetings

I got a survey call from Morgan years back. Forget what it was about but I’m not too sure about their data collection. Felt like one of those tests where you can’t help selecting the funniest option.

Maybe that’s just me though. Apropos of nothing in particular, it took me a record number of attempts to get cleared for a learner drivers license
