Match Thread Season 02, Round 1: Fulmina Qricket Club (FUL) vs Darkness Eternal (DAR) at Fulmina Recreation Reserve

Welcome back to the second season of the Sweet Cricket Association. Big thank you to boncer34 for running the competition last season and we are all looking forward to another bumper summer coming up!

The Fulmina Cricket Club (3rd) are playing host to the Darkness Eternal (RU) at Fulmina Recreatoin Reserve to kick off Season 2. These two teams will be looking to take things just a little bit further than last season as the Eternals lost the Grand Final and Fulmina finished the season in third place. Both teams will be asking for some early season points for Christmas with the One Day game played on Friday 26th December and the Test Match played early this week on Saturday 27th (due to the match poster being at the Boxing Day Test on day 3).

Home team to select their sides and pitches by midnight Wednesday 24th December. Away team to select their side by midnight Thursday 25th December. One Day Match to be posted on Friday 26th December and Test Match to be posted on Saturday 27th December.

Righto. It's the start of season 2, so let's add a little class to proceedings with a quote from the great English playwright, Harold Pinter:
