A lot of people have trouble with that distinction. Like how many times do you see anti-Israelis sarcastically say things like "promised to me 3000 years ago" or "the chosen people" as criticisms of Israel's actions?

I don't even know how valid I feel it is to hate a whole country the way many anti-zionists hate Israel. I have Ukrainian heritage but I don't obsess over Russia or hate Russians.
