A lot of people have trouble with that distinction. Like how many times do you see anti-Israelis sarcastically say things like "promised to me 3000 years ago" or "the chosen people" as criticisms of Israel's actions?

I don't even know how valid I feel it is to hate a whole country the way many anti-zionists hate Israel. I have Ukrainian heritage but I don't obsess over Russia or hate Russians. I hate Putin's regime, but I don't consume mountains of disinformation about the country along with valid criticisms and think it should be destroyed as from the baltic to the berring. I wouldn't excuse Ukrainian terrorists directing an October 7th style attack on Russian civilians or Ukraine constantly shooting rockets indiscriminately into Russia.

So for some anti-Zionists who aren't antisemitic in the sense they have a hatred of Jews, but they have these radical anti-Zionist views, I don't blame Jews for conflating their views with antisemitism. Especially when Jews are often attacked by people in the name of anti-Zionism just for being Jewish.
And a lot of those people are involved in the Murdoch media or the LNP or are Jews themselves aka Ben N or Josh F

Have the supporters of Israel in Australia made as big of a campaigners of themselves as the supporters of Palestine have?

Seems like the majority of campaignerish behaviour has come from one side.

Last time I checked, the Palestinians weren't killing tens of thousands of Israelis, blockading food and medical supplies, and essentially keeping them in an open-air prison.

The Palestinian civilians have no power.

You do know this.

That has nothing to do with Australia. You people can't seem to grasp that.

Bad shit in Palestine/Israel doesn't mean you can act like a campaigner in Australia.

You do know this?

As someone that has previously identified as a libertarian, are you concerned about the zionist lobby's influence on a wide range of new laws?

The genocidal and oppressive actions of the Israeli Government towards innocent Palestinians does effect people who live in other countries, including Australia. It effects humanity. This is obvious.

You can pretend it doesn't, or be amazed/surprised that it does - but it does.

It may explain, but doesn't excuse, extreme behaviour at protests in Australia. But there is a lot of poor behaviour at protests from many sides - that's the nature of a lot of protests. We had this discussion a couple of days ago.

You just make the leap that antisemitic statements at an Israel/Palestine protest are the reason two ISIS radicalised Indian-Australians killed Jewish people at Bondi.

What specific laws on guns are you not happy with and what specific laws on religion are you not happy with?

Well our gun laws are perfectly fine as they are.

Government intelligence agencies too afraid to go in hard on some communities and their whacky ideologies is the issue.

Oh give over on that nonsense.

You weren't saying the actions of Muslims against Christians in Iraq effect anyone else were you.

Zero about that effecting humanity.

Are they?

I don't recall such bullshit coming from Israeli protests?

Did they even hold in any? Did anyone turn up?

It's almost like the vast majority of Jews in Australia just tried to keep their heads down and stay out of the public's eye.

I think their stupid ideology is why they are so much easier to radicalise than any other religion out there.

You sure like telling people what thet can and can't do. Nothing Aussie about that.

My favourite moment where Jews in Australia kept their head down was when the Daily Mail reporter and that Jewish dude try to set up that cafe in Sydney. Real head, down keep to yourself stuff.

It's a daily barrage of Jews, yeseven Australian Jews, gloating about killing kids on social media. Real head down, mind your own business of them.

Yes there is.

Telling someone to **** off back over there if you want to bring that crap here is very Aussie.

People came here to get away from that shit, not to have it follow them here.

You think the Assyrians fled here just so that they could be targeted all over again by the same kind of people they fled from?

Ohh one person.

Shall we start going over all the Jewish people targeted?

Barrage you say.

If what you were saying were true it would be plastered all over the internet because all the Pro-Palestinians would most definitely not be letting such a publicity opportunity go by.
