Not a chance, the Aussies are mostly funded by rich County nuffs anyway.

I believe that was a return of service TO Mark Waugh, from a Pom.I've liked the sledge Steve Waugh copped from an English (?) player about how he was at least the best cricketer in his family.
Getting their excuses ready early
It’s just another test match for points!
Steve Smith said The Ashes were done at 3-0 so this next test (5th Ashes) is just part of the test cycle. It’s the same as the coach has said.
The Ashes has been diminished, it’s gone from the biggest single sporting rivalry in the world, it goes back around 150 years, something that had tradition and mystique, to …. just another test match for points !!!!!

The pitch colour looks like a smashed avo sanga.
Yknow I'm kind of okay with this mindset. It's not the 5-0, foaming at the mouth killer instinct I want. BUT the Boxing Day and New Years tests aren't dead rubbers like they may have been in the past, they still mean something in regards to the WTC cycle and I am glad they openly acknowledge that. It’s just another test match for points!

An all time great clapback: "Maybe not, but at least I'm the best player in my own family"I believe that was a return of service TO Mark Waugh, from a Pom.
well most of them can't due to scheduling, and the rest aren't good enough to get a game as there's a lot less state teams than counties. Its not like the Poms can't play in the Sheffield Shield, they just don't want to leave their warm houses.
Melbourne curator: My pitch is green and spicy.
Sydney curator: Hold my beer.
Look I’d be happy with it if it was one of mine, but that would be on a Thursday for a Saturday. It’s very greenThanks! I think when they showed it on tv, they shot from the other end of the pitch
It's an interesting topic. Does it help the Poms more? Or does it just give fringe local players more of an opportunity?

3-2 will be the moralist of moral victoriesJust let them win the moral deal rubbers
We're moreso whinging about the date of the test. Should be Day 3 already.people on bigfooty whinging about the pitch before a ball has even been bowled ffs.
That will hurt the counties more than England
