That was a ruptured patella tendon from memory? Can’t remember if it had anything to do with a dislocation.

Recovery time will come down to how much damage there is to supporting ligaments. Fingers crossed

Terrible luck. Could have been worse given the alternatives, hopefully at the milder end. If it's a mild, sounds like around 3 month recovery time, may only miss first 6 or so weeks of the season
