He’s a Trojan horse. We will defeat St Kilda in a cut-throat final, and there’ll be a controversy when it is revealed Gallagher leaked the Saints game plan to the Crows.

The Saints will go crying to the AFL, but then Reid - the Trojan horse we’ve had infiltrate the AFL - will laugh in their face and demand they trade NWM to us for a fifth rounder as restitution for their slanderous accusation.

Having said that i think it's pretty difficult for anyone at the club until the directive comes from the board that they actually want to win the premiership not just make finals.

There might have been a couple of things which went on south of Brisbane which caused the player exodus. He did very well to get what he did for those players

Rather it be Hamish then Reid - Hamish slaughtered our first round picks in the first few years after the 2017 GF

Reid in the last 3-4 years in particular has been very strong - Dawson, Rankine, ANB, Ah Chee, Peatling and Cumming trade situations all strengthened the club

Picking up 2nd chance players like Hinge, Keays and Keane has been a bonus
 
Could James Gallagher move from a board position to the list manager role ?

You know Hamish is the one who IDs players like Hinge, Keays, , Keane, etc and Reid does the trading and contract stuff

Do people really think the AFLPA CEO would also be on a club's board?

It’s not all Hamish - and players like Keane, Reid needs to get the deal done while competing with other clubs, as he did with the Cotton deal.

Regardless - Hamish has never been held accountable for some of his horror first round drafting that set our club back in the early rebuild stages - Ned, Jones, McAsey and Gullucci - all first round duds

Nothing would surprise me with the AFL... but you are correct.
 
You just know after an 'exhaustive worldwide search' the best person for the job will already be working at the Crows....
