Well I had 2 kit Kat chunkies today and I look and feel fantastic

Strange. I've never felt as good about myself after eating a Kit Kat Chunky as I did when I started to open it.

The sizzle never matches the sausage when it comes to commercial chocolate bars like it does with, say, a late night Yiros. Never.

Maybe the Government could release the full details of just how much they spend on getting such sporting events and how much they slash from other areas like hospitals, public education and social services to pay for it? Then we might be able to make our own decisions on whether it really is the best use of taxpayer funds?

But they never do, do they? Especially when they make a big feel good announcement just before an election.

Why is that do you think?

C'mon mate. Just a little bit of scepticism when it comes to government marketing bs and spending our money is not such a bad thing.
Different buckets of money m8

Same bucket. Different budgets they're pouring it into is all.

Quite prepared to accept the idea that pouring more into the sports event budget delivers better long term benefits to the state than pouring the same money into, say, the 'hospital' or 'nurses and care workers' budget.

But the lack of transparency tells me that maybe that's not the case.

One of the DJ's for LIV Golf was paid $1.6m for a 2 hour set.
Then proceeded to shit can Adelaide on his social media accounts.

There's a hole in the bucket, dear Liza.

What were your energy levels like? And how much water were you drinking every day?

Tbh I was absolutely fckd apart from day 4 I felt ok.
As someone who exercises a lot that was the hardest thing. Zero chance I could go to the gym.

I don’t actually record how much I drunk but it was heaps, I’d recon over 4 litres.

And because of all the adrenaline I found it really hard to sleep.

Energy and sleep were my two biggest issue

Tell me about the adrenaline, I didn't know that was a thing during water fasts.

Yeah so basically because there is zero energy coming in, your body increases cortisol and adrenaline in order to facilitate the burning of fat. That made it a cnt for me to try and sleep. I was also a bit jittery during the day

hGH also increases 400-2000% to preserve muscle mass

I’ll find out soon enough if I lost any strength or muscle. Def lost a shitload of fat around my guts though lol

If you wanna chat more about it Chewy316 just DM me

At my worst I was 112 kg about two years ago and just changing the sort of food I ate and drinking more water I’m now around the 86kg mark and am happy with that.
I can’t put away as much as I used to but old age does help with that as you do eat less when you get over the 60 mark.
It’s all about eating a more balanced diet and cut out those late night snacks, they are a killer.
A lot depends on what sort of weight your starting at also. A kiwi guy I know is 160kgs, he can lose 20kgs still looks shit then goes back to eating full on again because he can’t see no improvement.
Best of luck 👍

Sure is terrible when governments spend money on things that will improve the lives of their citizens and the vibe of the city while also making back the spent money via tourism, isn't it?
As a taxpayer I try to stay opened minded until the next election.

There is a lot of dick waving & tit flashing when it comes to political party differences in each state to who get$ what.

Let’s hope Mali doesn’t make the same mistakes as Comrade Vic Andrews yeh!

When I do the water fasts, obviously you definitely lose energy and really you should be doing next to nothing and just lying in bed because you want any excess energy from digestion to heal the crappy parts of your body.

With the 4 litres a day, was some of that with electrolyte powder. You can actually die of drinking too much water at once.

The issue with adrenaline and sleep is something that I would definitely look into. That seems a bit strange to me but it might be more normal for you.

Around the third to fourth day, did you do a number two even though you hadn't eaten for all of those days?

Anyway, your body will be happy with your fast. Good job.

For me, the most interesting aspect of a water fast when I first did it was the huge amount of time you spend thinking about food, preparing food, shopping for food, good food, the dishes, eating out, your fave foods, it's so much mental energy.
