no issue here. I have logged on the membership page a few times and on the weekend I grabbed 3 tickets for Sundays North v Port game via the AFL app easily. Is anyone else having trouble accessing their AFL membership account? Been having trouble since the season began

. $5 is nothing really in the scheme of things but its the principle.1. Specific questions on 2025 Grand Final membership checks. How many checks were done? What times were checks conducted? What was checked? What were the results and subsequent ramifications?
- There was no statistics provided for how many checks were done as it was stated that this was difficult in compiling the numbers.
- The times that checks were conducted was not answered but it was stated that checks were done in the Dining rooms. There was concerns with Digital checking and safety outside of the entrance gates.
- What was checked was not answered except that the AFL were looking at ways of checking digital memberships and were looking at what solutions that the MCC is pursuing.Internal and external Ticketing and Integrity Systems are in place for monitoring Social Media Sites with the selling of tickets.
- There was no results and subsequent ramifications provided. Our comments were that the MCC publish a table of how many members are penalised per offence and the penalties imposed. This acts as a mitigating deterrent for misuse of memberships. We also commented that any checking for the misuse of memberships should involve ID.The AFL asked why was this important. Answer is to increase the Gold members rights and chances of securing Grand Final tickets and to protect Gold and Silver rights and chances of securing tickets for High demand matches.
3) What are the chances of AFL members having input and comments to proposed changes to membership conditions before the AFL implements them.
There was no commitment to this, however the AFL stated members have the opportunity to add comments in the surveys. These written comments are utilized and considered by the AFL.
4) Are the criteria for increased membership fees based on a set percentage or CPI rates?
Membership fee rises were not based on a set percentage or CPI rates. Fee increases were based on increases in costs for providing services.![]()
10) Members continue to ask is it possible to provide a breakdown on Gold and Silver memberships per club of support (AFL Gold and Silver members).
The AFL asked why we want this breakdown. Our answer is always so that Gold members want to know their chances of getting a Grand Final ticket. The reply from the AFL was that every combination of the Grand Final competing teams would get a Grand Final Ticket. The AFLMA challenged this statement and asked then why we cannot have the breakdown. The reply was that the legal document publicised on the distribution of all Grand Final tickets states that AFL members range from 12,000 to 18,000 seats and that does not include Medallion Club allocation. The AFLMA Secretary strongly disputed these figures for what actually is the case.
Yeah mine came ages agoHas anyone got their physical card yet?
Without any pricing from what I could see. Grabbed a can of Carlton Draught on Sunday, got stung $12.50I did notice the bar on M level is now MCG Express with tap and take.

Yeah the pricing flicks soooo quick and then you get 4 screens of bullshit.Without any pricing from what I could see. Grabbed a can of Carlton Draught on Sunday, got stung $12.50![]()
Clearly due to the increased cost of providing services. All prices up. Cider up a buck a can i think
Thanks Mr ChalmersClearly due to the increased cost of providing services.
i just assumed all the alcohol drinks have gone up another 50c like they have every year since covid
as someone who prefers tap beer the fact these grab and go bars have replaced bars with tap beer annoys me and all they've done is replace waiting behind people asking for cans with waiting behind people who don't understand how to enter
at least i can drown in my misery with a 20 dollar asahi in the bunton...
London is a good one. The rest of Swan St has turned into yuppie filthAny good spots for a pub type meal and a pot before the game?
During the day I like Richmond fish and chips. They do a good hamburger with the lot, chips and can of drink for under $20
If it's the AFL, it is a cluster**** and wrong. They are an inept orgCan anyway explain the logic of not having the football on 2 of the 3 big screens in the Bunton Bar. Instead we get a screen saver or random messages with the footy only on the TV behind it. Everyone who walks into the bar ask the same question.l

One is the scoreboard feed and one is the TV feed. Can anyway explain the logic of not having the football on 2 of the 3 big screens in the Bunton Bar. Instead we get a screen saver or random messages with the footy only on the TV behind it. Everyone who walks into the bar ask the same question.l
How can they not understand why a majority of members want ID checks for misuse of memberships? My mum can't sign in on her AFL app. Cleared cache, data etc, uninstalled, reinstalled, no luck. I could sign in on her account on my phone but not hers. Took it to the gate 7 window on Sunday and showed him the error she was getting. He was stumped ("never seen that before") and took a photo of the error to chase up. Heard nothing so far. I asked about just sending her a physical card. Yep no problems, we can do that. $5. $5 is nothing really in the scheme of things but its the principle.
Just got the AFLMA minutes from their meeting with the AFL in Feb. They treat us like absolute mugs and act as if we're lucky to have them give us the time of day. Without adding the whole thing here, a couple of interesting snippets (my emphasis added).
How hard can it be to create a digital membership card? How can they not understand why a majority of members want ID checks for misuse of memberships?
