If its true whats reported in the Australian ie that Carlton have given up pick 3, 20 and Kennedy, Miller has achieved what he set out to do.
We knew we were never going to get Judd during national draft but we sure werent going to let him to go Carlton for SFA.

It was reported yesterday that all Carlton were prepared to give up was pick 3 and 20 or pick 3 and Kennedy.

Miller sent a dummy bid, pick 2 and 18 and forced the Blues to cough up more.

There is no doubt that Miller and Nisbett have spoken about this before trade week and now its Nisbetts turn to give us Morton at a discounted price.

I believe 3 players for 1 is too much plus they are paying him $1.4 million a year.

If you were a Calton supporter you would hate for him to do a knee or break a leg like N Brown did.

Yeah but we get the best player in the land and we still have the pick for the best kid in the land.....

...

Sorry to break the news to you, but our offer from day 1 was always going to be between pick #3, JK, and #20. Nothing changed. You were talking about how Miller was going to force us to trade picks #1 and Fev as well. Well, it didn't happen. Reason? Because Miller was never able to get Judd to nominate the Tiges, so he had no trading leverage. :)

No arguement from me. But you gave up more than what you were prepared to originally give up.
Thats my point.
Interesting to see who WCE pick up at pick 20.
So far it will be Cotchin Kennedy and pick 20 for Judd

But we actually pinched a top-5 pick you'll recall. So it's actually only JK and 20 for Judd. Plus we landed Kruezer. Not bad. :)

Millers done nothing. Dont be delusional. If he did, it would be to give up pick #1.

Hes tried, West Coast didnt go along with it well enough like they should of.

miller achieved SFA - while we wasted a lot of time with a trade that was none of our business - when in reality, we should have been worrying about trying to get players we truely need to improve our own list

if we don't take cotchin with pick 2 - i will call this the worse performace we have had in a pre season for a long time:thumbsd:

In retrospect, to think that we got Browny for only Picks #6 and #20 in the year of what was probably poorest draft so far this century. Forget the unfortunate broken leg, he was on his way to being the single most dangerous player in the comp when he tragically went down in R.10 2005, if not already there.

If Miller had half a brain he would have accepted an offer from us for our pick 3 and screw the eagles, now he looks like a tool that he is. Fact of the matter is that we where never giving up pick 1 and JUDD was never going to Richmond anyway. So what he should have done is got in swanns ear and take pick 3 off us and give us a fringe player then agree to let JUDD go through with our 2nd pick in the pre season draft. That way you guys have pick 2 + 3!!
West coast will only deal with us because both parties had agreed that earlier in the week and also the eagles want 2 do the right thing by JUDD.
If i was you blokes i would be ropable at Miller, and KB the idiot far that matter as well. KB looks like a fool cause he's got no idea! He leaves your club in the lurch for 15-20 years because he was a shitiouse coach and now wants to stick up for miller. I think he's doing it too stuff richmond again.

we would have accepted it but you guys went back on it. so therefore the dummy bid was put in. we cant accept what you guys dont want, so i guess your a fool.
we never truly were after judd i think we were just trying to get something

Aren't you a genius. Hopefully Judd eyegouges you if he meets you in the street.

ummmmm hehehe your really one of the silliest people on BF Parrot - your a total parrot actually - stating your facts like they are your own - we never actually went after Judd you moron - we tried to up the ante for WE and we will get Morton for our efforts. Karma is a great thing Parrot so be very very careful with your loose lips.

You and the other scum idiots need to get it right - without Judd your screwed - well and truely and even with him it is doubtful you will be much chop. Can't believe that you are forcing Kennedy to leave when he doesnt want to go - shame on your team.

No one will ever really know why Judd chose the Blues - it is beyond EVERYONES (except your silly supporters of course) comprehension and always will be. Don't kid yourself, he didnt come for your :hehehehe "developing list" or facilities - it was pure greed. He lost a lot of respect in this trade from ALL fans.

I cant wait to see where you finish next year....come back and see us then hey - we may be just laughing so hard at you though that we cannot talk to you.

As with all Blues supporters - most of you are just delusional. My offer to study you is still on the table - I am sure I could win a pulitzer prize by doing so - I am sure I can work out what the cause of mental illness is with your lot as subjects.

Carlton - the skid marks on the underpants of society - that will never change - Judd or no Judd.

Your team is not much to sing about so I cant see how you are going to improve. Obviously you see something though - you may want to see a doctor about that - could be terminal.

Morons unite - over at scumland (aka Carlton)

Now get off our boards - you are not wanted - infecting us with your stupidity.

Once again, why is Tambling's name always dragged into these discussions? Highly questionable that he's been any less promising than your very own Ryan Griffen.

Let's look again, shall we?

Career averages after their first three seasons

- Tambling - R.Griffen
Age - 21.0 -- 21.2
Ga -- 53 ----- 51
Kic -- 7.7 ---- 8.1
Hb -- 4.2 ---- 7.1
Di -- 12.0 --- 15.2
Ma -- 4.3 ---- 3.4
Go -- 0.8 ---- 0.3
Be -- 0.6 ---- 0.4
Ta -- 2.3 ---- 2.7
F+/- +0.3 --- -0.3

Not too dissimilar, eh tiger? Especially considering how injury ravaged Tambling's first season was - he didn't finish four games due to recurring hamstrings, which haven't troubled him since. In two games he didn't even make it to quarter time. Kind of dulls the average for him too.

In fact, based on their respective numbers of 2007, Tambling has arguably gone passed Griffen. He surpassed Griffen in Average Kicks, Marks, Goals and Frees, whilst closing the gap Handballs and Tackles laid. And he sustained this over 20 games rather than Griffen's 10 games.

What does it have to do with Tambling? Brown was traded in the off-season of 2003. That was the draft where you people took Cooney at 1.
