I still don't think he will be as good and Joel Selwood, Scott Pendlebury, Nathan Jones or even Travis Boak from this years rising stars.
Selwood >>>>Jones>>>>Pendlebury>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Smith
Selwood >>>>Jones>>>>Pendlebury>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Smith
Selwood will be his only contender over the coming years.
Chuck the other three away...they will not get near him over the next few years. They just don't have what he has, while he has got everything they have got.
Haha, oh dear.
Pendlebury played more games, had more kicks, disposals, marks, goals, tackles and hit-outs.
Plus he is 1 year, 3 months younger than Smith.
Spot on although Hurn >>> JonesI would have it
Pendlebury>Smith>Selwood>Jones>Hurn
I think Selwood is being givena ride by the brilliant midfield he is in.
Jones is a gun extractor with little upside. Won't show a complete game.
Smith is a tall midfielder. These types are rare and he is the complete package. Same with Pendlebury but I think he has more scope to improve given his background. Pendles is also more offensively gifted.
Murphy over all though.

I stoped readin after that comment, Selwood is a ball winner, clearance player and great tackler.
Selwood > all on your list.
I presume you meant better than all but three in the '04 draft - where he was first taken. Franklin, Deledio, Griffen have done nothing to suggest they won't stay ahead of him, while Lewis and Cloke have proved themselves as good as you could hope for at this stage of their careers. Give him another good year and he'll slot into that group comfortably.
Did he sit out a year with a smashed up ankle as well?
Taller, stronger, faster, far more courageous, tougher, better kick.
Smith dwarf him.
A future in Queensland and a dole cheque to make ends meet?Selwood will be his only contender over the coming years.
