I'm glad Mr Rose was dissuaded from his plan to call our new Hall of Fame after a soon to be ex-PM.

Should always have been a player or administrator. Not really in keeping with the Bulldogs ethos either...IMO

But who are they naming it after instead?

John is welcome to have his name put on a plaque like the rest of the personal contributors to the Whitten Oval project.

Provided a personal contribution like in the form of a cheque (John & Jeanette Howard) is made. Likewise Mr and Mrs Rudd.

It makes me sick Mrs Acker works in a school up here, and has to authorize the payments of plaques with usually the local member of parliament's name on it, to be put on something they approved funding for in the school.

Plaque costs around $200 then there is the unveiling. Which usually means a platter of sandwiches and the attendance of the local member, district head of school's, mayor, school employees, parents and students.

With the exception of parents and students the rest of the above are working on tax payers time, going to an event blowing wind up there asses for spending tax payers money.

Politicians suck.
