Is Nic Natanui the worst value footballer of the 2000's?

How cute, a Geelong supporter who wouldn’t know what a decent ruckman looks like, flirting with a halfwit from norf. :rainbow:

Tom boyd will easily take this out with a few more potato seasons and cocaine breaks

Hilarious this is started by a norf supporter

Boyd played in a flag though right?

1935 disposals in 10 years .Discus.
He is the best tap ruckman to advantage ever tho .flipper flopper over the topper. Tackles weeney midfielders the Afl have to invoke a new rule where you calculate weight power etc. Pack marks over an entire Norf backline and kicks winning goals tho . But yeah he is overpaid and there are too many poor people .

1935 disposals in 10 years of football, comprising 571 clangers, and at a cost of $8-10 million dollars.

1354 effective disposals/220 possible games = 6.2 effective disposals @ ~ $6,000 per effective disposal.

The absolute WORST value footballer since the turn of the century, and a life member of the impostors club.

Discuss.
your club should throw ridiculous amounts of money to a player and you might get somewhere ... oh wait ... oh you have .

That's not how you calculate effective disposals. Assuming you went off afltables, which seems to have happened because the 1935 disposals matches. The 571 are actually clearances, and he only has 330 clangers, 184 of which are frees against. At most, he's 146 clanger disposals in his career (not including other errors that factor into the total 'clangers' stat). An all time classic idiotic melt from you champ.

Clearly people don't watch games, especially live, they just read and selectively regurgitate stats.
It's why players like Voss and Hird are rated by many above Buckley, despite his impressive stats, because of their impact upon both their and their opponent's teams.
Anyone attending a game who has seen Naitanui play understands his value.
He is a very skilled ruckman, creates chaos in opposition centre square/ ball-up structures with his speed and physicality, and has the ability to lift the game tempo or alter momentum in his team's favour. Some of these things don't show on stat sheets, but are invaluable. How do you stat perceived threat or hurried decision making due to his presence?
I would love to hear from Sam Mitchell who saw his impact as both an opponent, and then later as his team's midfield coach.

This inane topic/troll reeks of the post 2008 draft threads by Melbourne supporters convinced we were devastated by missing out on Jack Watts. They also went on about their prospects to be a super-power with their superior list at that time.
Interestingly, both Dees and Eagles received priority picks at the end of the first round that year. Dees took Mark Blease who won two rising star nominations two years apart (each side of a broken leg), but never fully recovered from injuries, and Eagles selected Luke Shuey.

Lol haven't you spent time in the Can?

If you are stupid enough to do the crime at least don't get caught.

Jeager Omeara?

An excellent representation.

This is one of the 33 marks that Nic "the fraudster" Natanui took that season.

Yes folks...............33.............that is not a typo.

33 marks in 23 matches.

This works out at roughly ~ $30,000 a mark for the 2015 season.

Ty Vickery took 73 marks in only 15 matches that season.
177cm Cyril Rioli took 103 marks that year
Matthew 'scared of his own shadow' Suckling took 143

This one goes out to all my friends in yokeltown

Suckling doesn't get in on theme rounds either.

Do we have a 'owns over 200 sneakers' round yet? He'd be AA captain of that side.

Did you not like him out sprinting 3 Players and kicking the winning goal against the Handbaggers last season. :thumbsu:

Dude the thread is about a WCE player give the "But But But Hawthorn" this a rest.

Look matey if Jaegers status wasn't under threat I doubt you would be jumping to his defense so quickly

I look forward to the math speaking for itself. I am currently unable to do the math, because it is math after all. But I'm looking forward to the results

Nic Nat's essentially a taller version of Cyril with 1/10th the highlight reel & 100% fewer Premiership medals. Which is kind of a problem when he's paid significantly more than Rioli ever earned yet his highlight reel is slimmer than a Kardashian autobiography.

Even Drew Petrie delivered twice as much as Natanui's career has. 'Bout the only thing you can say about Nic Nat is he's never Andrew Gaff'ed anyone.

So its not a 30% clanger rate, its a 20% clanger rate from a guy who rarely gets the ball. Nice save !!

Well do this math.

Hawks V Handbaggers in both games JOM played last season = Two Hawk wins.
lol, nothing but “BUT BUT BUT Geelong” from this H&A game celebrating minnow. :straining:

Christ, that’s more BIG butts than I normally like.
