Is it too early to call 'danger game'?

Any game where the opposition can kick more than 4 goals / game is a 'danger' game.

Our 2 goals + that 2 goal margin you're always rabbiting on about?

We actually scored 4 goals in our last game.
Plus the 2 goal margin thing,
plus the 90% loss ratio we have when the opposition score 70 pts.

Technically any game where the game scores 12 goals or if the opposition can score 3 goals/quarter is a 'danger game' .

Out of interest, what are the stats for other teams when their opposition scores 70 pts?

Scott Jeffrey umpiring
With Scott Jefferey's retirement I think the Bulldogs have arranged for him to be driven around MarveL Stadium
in Rnd 1 so Doggie supporters can properly celebrate his career and give him a fitting farewell.

Most recent injury list suggests that Franklin, Menzel, Smith, Naismith will all be unavailable for round 1, while Jones and Jack are indefinite at this stage.

If we are to assume those guys are all unavailable, it seems like a round 1 team could look like:

Rampe - Melican - Thurlow
McVeigh - Aliir - Lloyd
Florent - Parker - Mills
Heeney - McCartin - Hayward
Papley - Reid - Ronke
Sinclair - Kennedy - Hewett

Cunningham - Clarke - Dawson - Blakey

Grundy - O'Riordan - Fox - Cameron

I'm a little undecided on defence and I want O'Riordan in the side (similar to Dawson - I want him in the side badly). I can see the coaches picking Cameron as first ruck for round 1 with Sinclair as primarily a forward (if Bud is not fit to play).

Just my opinion, and there are many better trained eyes than mine around, but I thought COR went backwards after his debut last season. Seemed indecisive and lacking confidence back in the neafl. Interesting to see if he bounces back

Fair enough and may well have been (I'm not the most thorough reserves-watcher), but I love his athleticism and confidence when he's playing well. I really liked his time in the seniors and thought he was really unlucky to not regain a place after he was fit again. I firmly believe that he and Aliir could spark a really exciting new era for our defence (in terms of their ability to rebound and intercept mark with their athleticism) if they both get sustained seniors time together.

Bulldogs midfield is easily one the best in the comp.

Gonna need to have a fast start from Mills and JPK to be back in form. Could cut us apart, especially at Marvel.

lol what? You rate their midfield above e.g. Collingwood, Essendon, West Coast, Richmond, even the Dees?

I didnt say anything about specific teams, but I would take a fit Dogs midfield over Melbourne and West Coast's at least of the 5 you listed.

Bont, Macrae, Dunkley will be one of the better centre bounce groups. Hunter is already one of the best wing players and one of Williams/Johanissen can push up as well. Then for depth you have McLean, Libba, Waĺlis, Bailey Smith, Daniel, Lipinski and even Jong goes alright.
