Since they came back from the off season, Crisp hadn't trained. To the point that there was rumors flying around, nobody said he was injured so we weren't sure what was going on.I didn't know where to post this question, so forgive me if this isn't the place. I read that Crisp has had a shorter preseason due to having surgery later as you blokes made the GF! (bad luck but this is your year). It said that Crisp hadn't started full training yet on Jan 30th, was he running ect before Chrissy or just recovering, the article wasn't very clear about what he had been doing/was able to do before the 30th of Jan. Cheers.
I think Beams is going to be huge this year.
Who gets Gaj? Possibly Langdon or crisp

Coxy didn't play either. I reckon there were a few games we failed to fire last year, without Coxy in the side.Wasn’t last time the game Pendlebury was a late out? And Moore + someone else went down before half time?
I remember being pissed because we were clearly a better side and looked as though we were still going to win that game.
Treloar played significant time and was fairly damaging up forward early last season. He’s got more than one string to his bow.Treloar's a mid that's it.

Then add Pendlebury(late out) to that side with all 3 being healthy and we probably winCox did play and from memory had a shocker. Moore only played about 20% game time and Phillips was knocked out before 1/2 time.

Ah, Philips. I knew there was another injury in that game. If I recall correctly he had just been pumped up in the media big time that week... but unfortunately Mayne's knee struck!
Damn I am nervous, excited and can't wait for the game.
Have no idea what the side we pick will look like, but if we win will watch the game a couple of times as I am sure because of my nervousness will have missed some passage of play at the game.
Bring it on...

It wasn't until later, late Jan-early feb that we discovered he had back issues and that he had surgery for something else. I believe he resumed training in feb, building up toward the JLT. He hadn't been in full training long before that.
Among the Pies newcomers are two certainties and an outside chance to face Geelong at the MCG on Friday. Champion midfielder Dayne Beams is back after four years in Brisbane and looks primed for a big season back in the engine room with old teammates Scott Pendlebury and Steele Sidebottom. Ex-Bulldogs big man Jordan Roughead hasn't put a foot wrong since joining the Pies as a bargain-basement buy and is a strong candidate to take on Cats spearhead Tom Hawkins. Meanwhile, gun draftee Isaac Quaynor is highly unlikely to force his way into a strong line-up despite an impressive pre-season in defence. – Ben Collins
If we don't beat the scats, I swear to god...If we lose this.. I swear man..
I will knick my next door neighbour's Wally and Edna's 24 pack of zoopadooppers from the boot of their Datsun 87 when they arrive home from grocery shopping so I can watch em scratch their heads for an hr thinking 'what the f happened to it'. Then follow them into Woolworths and watch em demand and argue with the sales assistant for half an hr for a $2 refund.. just cause I wanna be a smart ass.
I have f had it man.. that's it for me.
