Rozee's JS is very shaky

Still have Hartlett and Wines to come back into the team.

I don't think Rozee is worth the risk at the higher rookie price.

I was never confident that Port would play all the rookies in the same team for round one.

Butters and Duursma have deserved their spots in the team based on JLT.

Was never keen on Rozee playing straightaway and I am surprised he has been named to play round one.

Drew was always going to be a stop gap measure for Wines considering we have so many of that type of player in the team already - Rocky and SPP.

he'll probably be a potato but i might take him anyway if he's going to get a good crack at it.

Sorry for the delay due to bigfooty being down, Stewie said he will get his debut on Sunday, will be the second tall behind 2MP unless Day somehow gets a gig. When Corbett comes back (1-2 weeks) he will either become 3rd tall or help play in defence. Worst case he loses his spot to Day or Corbett, but i doubt it. He is on the pine for me, can see him scoring well but will be inconsistent

As a kangas fan, I watched JLT2. I'm not sold on Duursma as I could swear we never had anyone on him, you guys took 8 million marks from short kicks because we zoned off the players within 30 metres of the ball AND his kicking looked pretty mediocre.

Boak and Ebert have swapped roles this year.

Boak is back in the mids and Ebert will be playing the defensive forward role that Boak played last year.

Therefore Boak will not be moved to accommodate Drew in the team.

So Moore will be priced higher. Either way Moore has far greater scoring potential that several of the fwd rookies and daylight ahead in terms of job security.
He may score less than expected but a 60 average of 12 games if far better than 60 over 3 than ur looking for a replacement that may not come unless you have left money in the bank to upgrade or burn 2 trades to bring another down so u can upgrade the donut.

Gotta love JLT hype. If he scored 50 from 10 touches 80% game time in JLT 2, would you pick him?

Got to take the risk, if you grab a rookie and Moore gets off to a tremendous start then where you gonna get the cash

How many form their team by rookies first, premos 2nd?

Picking it this way basically means you have to go a 4 premium midfield

Clark, Duursma only cheapish rookies good enough to start on field in defence.
Setterfield, Drew forward.

Either start looking at Collins and other higher priced blokes, or accept that Butters/Scott/Bewley/Hately/Atkins/Constable are the better looking rookies (compared to Balta, Petrucelle, Burgess, Hore, McKay, Rozee). Smith also > Collins.

Ugh.

No but he didnt he scored well and seems a far better option than most fwd rookies in terms of js and scoring potential playing that role. Im not saying he is a uber lock and going to be great without a doubt just to me he seems a better option than Balta and Petrucelle who have very iffy JS and scoring potential so there is just as much risk there. I wouldnt pick him ahead of Drew or Setterfield but my current structure doesnt allow for strong f4 so he is the next best option to maintain that structure. If he flops these first 2 weeks I can always downgrade to one of them when they are on the bubble if they do well.
