If I recall correctly just about every interview with Tom Lynch after he officially became a tiger had him mentioning how much he was looking forward to learning from Jack and how Tom never really had anyone to teach him so far in his career. Sounds to me like Tom Lynch would be the last person to have any surprise/shock/false indignation about something he himself has already spoken about.

Yeah definitely wouldn’t of been an off the cuff comment by Rance I’m sure he checked with lynch before

So Rancey reckon Lynch is an amazing elite talent with jaw dropping ability. But hasn't been properly developed.

I'm shocked.

Que the shocked gofer........DN !!! DN !! DNNNNN!!!!

what’s this glory hunting merc’s pass mark tonight?

12 marks and 3 goals I reckon
At the very least, yep.

I think realistically it's more like 8 contested, 15 overall and 5 goals, 3 assists.

He will be better for the run. Kicked 3 while playing like a busted arseh*le. It’s his first hit out for nearly 12 months. Pretty happy to be honest.

I actually didn’t think Lynch was too bad. Not one of our best but far from our worst -coughbutlercough-

He’ll be good for the run. Plus 3 goals first game back in almost a year, I’ll take it!

Lynch will be alright, you cant judge him to harshly on a few dropped sitters, the conditions got worse as the night went on and I reckon where partly to blame for Rance landing awkwardly. Even Jack struggled but its been a big week for Jack, just be happy we got goals from both our key forwards tonight and our players got a week under their belts.

Plenty of room for improvement

The beautiful thing about Tom lunch is he can have an absolute shit house game and still kick 3

Will be better for the run but the worrying thing was concrete mitts which would be lack of touch but the big one seemed worried about his knee in the one on one wrestling

Obviously rusty, but the fact that he got his mitts on the ball a lot, shows he'll come good soon.

Yep, concrete hands. But got to right places and did good things. You could see structurally we were much better with him there. And Jack playing like me didn't help - except that mark I'd get the other guys waist not shoulders :)
