My theory regarding the pies scoring proved correct again.

When pies score under 79 v top 8 sides.................................THEY LOSE

Also pies have now only scored above 79 v top 8 sides in home and away once in last 9 games for a 1-8 record.

And they were true to form in their last 12 or so games, fly out of the blocks in the first qtr and then their scoring drys up because they get spent, they will only be able to hold on for dear life for a limited time before they get torn apart by the better teams.

Seriously can't believe a team who can't score against the better teams made the GF last year.

It was said our medium sized forward line wouldn't cut the mustard again, so why is it assumed the pies can get away with it with their medium sized players who prefer to duck out the back instead of competing in the air.
