Sam Lloyd is a genuinely good footballer. I have no idea why we let him go. Kicks goals, plays midfield and is a clean nice player. 22 touches, 2 goals tonight.

We didn’t want to lose him but we couldn’t guarantee him first team football and he’s much too good to play vfl. As for the why we didn’t get much for him maybe we could of got something in the 40’s but letting him go without a fuss is strategic it shows other players Richmond will look after your best interests and makes ppl want to join or work with us

Lloyd is unlucky for the fact he doesn’t have pace he’s a better player than George for example but George fits our game plan better
