Well of course, being a captain would make you immune from the axe. That said the issue is it is a lot of money we're paying, and it is easy to keep persisting to get some value from that money.

Wasn't there news out of the Crows that Fogarty was practicing playing down back in preseason? I also remember him playing there in some AFL games last year. He is a good mark and natural footballer who read the play well and is actually reasonably quick in the first few steps and elusive.
