She has the talent but she did her ACL in 2007 and had just enough time to recover to make the 2008 Olympics.

Does she want to do all that rehab to make $25k a season to play AFLW and keep on going back and forth to USA?? I have no idea. I checked her playing career is over but she is an assistant coach for Dallas WNBA team.

She is so far above the rest of the league talent wise she could take 4 years off and still come back and be the best player in the league.
I'm pretty sure it's not about money for her, just the love of playing the game.

I'll accept 42k to 45k given the eastern stand and southern stand top decks are pretty full, but the hill isn't packed there are huge gaps in the level 3 seats in the eastern stand and even at ground level aisles there are gaps.

Don’t conflate the two, there were lots of empty seats last night. 41.5k was about right.

Did the SMA open up the Village Green at the back of the Western stand and have 8,000 people getting pissed there, making a few $$$, and not watching more than a couple of minutes play like at a Test match or ODI?

I assume no tickets were sold, nothing scanned, so no audit can be done. Did you have to go thru the turnstile of any type?
