That Heeney free kick with 5-6 mins to go was hoarseshit, same thing happened to McKay not a minute earlier and play on, at no stage did Plowman look at Heeney in that marking contest, umpiring is dead set ruining the game, I don't like to bash umps generally, but that one against Harry was a howler if they are paying Heeneys.
We didn't deserve to win anyway, we were soundly beaten by a bigger bodied well drilled team, end of story

True enough in general, but contact on the face is always going to be a free kick, no matter where the infringer is looking

We had a dearth of AFL quality small forward/mids. Polson is just not AFL standard; either as a forward or as a mid. Gibbons was found wanting today; his is not a forward.

I’ve hung in there with Bolton, but now I’m officially of the belief he is not the coach that will make the most of our list.

Call it selection errors, call it lack of structure, call it lack of viable gameplan, call it lack of game day plan b game plan, call it lack of forward pressure, call it what you will... but the point is the buck stops with the coach and Bolton just doesn’t have the ability to fix any of those.

Does anyone believe Sydney are a top 8 team? We played a great first quarter then went to sleep.Again Cripps was shut down. Murphy cannot continue to get a game if he persists playing a cameo role for 10 or 15 minutes. Casboult could have won the game, and once again he did what he has done for 9 years. Missed! Our ruck's are useless. Zero impact around the ground. Good teams will put us to the sword quickly, and then bury us. GCS have been extremely impressive, and if anyone believes we will have an easy match next week, then you may be in for a shock.

Really could have won that. The first two behinds of the game were absolute gift goals. That's a ten point difference right there. That plus a bit more composure in the last and the game would have been ours.

That's not to paper over the deficiencies. Gibbons, Polson, Lobbe all substandard. LOB quiet. Dow tried hard but had a bad day.

On the plus side: Jones, Ed, Cripps, Walsh, McKay.

Nothing has changed or seems to have changed, the same skill errors, lack of vision/composure, disgusting disposals, no game plan if you consider going to the boundary a game plan then yes that is a game plan.

Same shit different year, questions will be asked of Bolton if we get done next week, wasn't it 66 games? Has that come and gone? Most of us have shown plenty of patience, but nothing is changing.

Crippa was Crippa.
Walsh looks like he's in his 3rd season.
Ed is starting to grow into the small forward pressure role.
Harry's contested marking is A grade.
FFS, hurry up and get fit Kruz.

At this point in the season, Harry’s contested marking is literally the best ever

Obrien is not helping our gibbs trade look good at all. Decpite gibbs best efforts for the crows. Murphys game was fine and being not the captain.. i only rate him of that.. his game.

Blame umpires and skills etc but players are not spreading we should have learnt from Richmond round 1 but continue to play predictable football.

Swans were running and spreading and we played stupid football.

We need a new coach to bring in new ideas because this is not working.

19 points flattered us. Should have been over at 3qtr time. Did get exciting for a bit but didn't deserve the win. We play 3 or 4 blokes who are not good enough or not ready.

Gibbons and polson need to be dropped. Don't do anything well. LOB was poor but last qtr was good, seems good when he plays on instinct and not overthinking the situation.

Thought daisy and simpson were terrible.

Samo did some nice things but a bit down on previous weeks. Did some nice bone crunching tackles late which were encouraging.

Walsh and cripps very good. Weiters very good. Jones a beast. Casboult while not hitting the scoreboard did some nice things and split some.packd open that resulted in goals, keeps his spot.

For some reason we just play shit for half a game. Has to stop.

Also they waltzed the ball from end to end way to easy in 2nd and 3rd qtrs, and that's when they won the game.
