Right is cheaper, will score more total and make more money - is it worth 2 trades though?

While probably have to have Libba and Lloyd, I'd seriously consider someone else over Sloane for Libba. Look at his fixture coming up.

What is everyone doing with dunkley? Doesn't look like a top 10 forward.

Ridley > Rozee
Dunkley the crab > Boak

Had the Ridley to Rozee trade locked in last week right up until Ridley was a late inclusion. Cost me 50 points and 70k. Rule #1 of SC, always chase your losses(Should really bring Heeney back in for Dunkley then too)

Thinking about Balta>Miers as well, hes a deadset potato farmer.

Yeah Balta looks hopeless mate.

I think it's more important for me to get as many cash cows in as I can and bank $200,000.

Can use that to get a cheap Laird or D.Smith in the next couple of weeks.

Charlie Curnow could be one to watch in the coming weeks, might find himself below 300k because of injury

Heavily considering doing this trade.

I make $10K on this trade.

Rocky I think is a lost cause now, his role will change & he's got a shit BE 100, he ain't making much cash from here on out. Fyfe hasn't been the scorer I envisioned, this concussion is a worry, and Neale looks like the real deal. I bought Macrae last year @ $625k and then he went on an absolute tear of four 140+ games in a row.

$315k in the bank for next week upgrades.

Same question last week with Heeney: who else is there that's a surefire bet in the forward line?

Kelly, Devon, Boak. How many points are you really gaining from that?

Am tempted to sideways him to a POD-ish midfielder like Cunnington tbh.

Man concussions are the worst. Logic says I should hold Fyfe, it's just one game etc

But then theres a voice inside my head saying bring in Neale, it will be my only chance to bring him in before the byes and i don't want to get reamed like I did with not having Macrae last year + not having to deal with a shitty rookie this week.

When thinking of SC relevant players to get knocked out, my mind goes back to Merret who took a while to get back up and running again after his concussion, but this could just be my own confirmation bias and I'm missing players who got knocked out and it had no negative effect on their scoring.

Got some major issues with players roles in my team.

Treloar - didnt attend 1 centre bounce in the first quarter with Adams back
Dunkley - cooked, cheers Bevo.
Drew - He isn't a forward and will be dropped pretty quickly unless a mid gets injured

Early leans.

TRADE 1
Atkins to Libba
Dunkley to Boak

TRADE 2
Brodie Smith to Boak via Moore
Drew to Rozee

It is. But look at last year. I didnt have macreae lloyd grundy and it was impossible to catch up to any of the top players without them. Sure I can sideways fyfe and dusty to the likes of cogs, brayshaw, treloar, zerrett, bont etc and get ur 100 to 130 everyweek with the odd exception. Meanwhile Neale and and Macrae look like they will be pumping out 120 to 150 everyweek and could finish the season as the top 2 scorers. Injury can happen to the lesser players I sideways to also then what?
Last week Fyfe was Numero Uno. 135 avge top of the list. Rockliff 127 avge. SuperUber Primo stuff. Now they're phukked. They looked like they would be pumping out 120-150 everyweek....yeah ?
In just one week at this time of year, now JPK and Hopper would have been just as good as buying Fyfe at the start. Back to a restart at Rnd 3 for 2 of the must haves last week. Rocky went from 127 to now having scored the same as Darcy Tucker.
Cripps sticks his noggin into a lot of contests. Lets hope it doesnt happen to him. Libba is a lottery.
Point is that whilst everyone has 2 maybe 3 rooks at F4-6, everyone also has 4maybe 5 primo's plus a sheed rocky or libba and running the same 2 rooks. Some 5or6 primo;s. At this time of year the pack isnt seperating on the basis of mids. It will later on though.

Its easy to get caught up trying to get a bloke like Macrae in for big $$...but he's scored a grand total of 19pts more than Bont and cost >100K more. 6pts a game. That 100K spent in the fwds or backs is huge right now. Its the difference between a guy running at 100+ and the disappointing bloke we have at F2/3. Certainly making more than 6 pts a round.
I;d be just as happy to have Mrouch and Bont as having Macrae and Neale at this point of the season coz they are in form. One knock and Macrae can avge 80 for 3 weeks. It is arse not class. Not chasing skirt till a few weeks time.

He's a keeper now.

Seasons over anyway

what the hell did you envision exactly? weekly 150's with the odd double ton thrown in for good measure? 136 avg from his 2 non-concussed games seems like a good return to me.

i'm not saying don't make the trades but if your expectations are that high you'll be making trades every week.

Rockliff > Stack
McKay > Whitfield

i kept heeney as i thought if any team was gonna put him into form it would be carlton, dogs have collingwood and last game dunkley only had 5 CBAs his lowest out of the 3 games. kelly looks to be a top 6 forward and the obvious thing is straight swap to him but do i hold and see if he gets into form while he loses me money or trade now and not lose any money.

Im currently sitting 5800 in ranks and havent used any trades yet.

Envisioned was probably the wrong word to use. To be specific, no injury concerns for the first 12 weeks.

I could have worded that better.

no chance in hell, hasnt faced an actual decent ruckman yet. bellchambers always leaks points and lobb isnt a ******* ruck
I'm waiting till next week to see how he performs against Big boy.

Should be a good barometer.
