Yeah, that was a warning sign. If you're a collingwood supporter you want to play for them in all versions.

No collingwood supporter goes to st kilda. Must have been some enticing offer. Or didn't get along with the girls, or some reason.

If Goddard comes as coach we attract players

Goddard is a no brainer, the club surely must appoint Bec. Proven at the AFLW level as a coach, loved and respected by most of the women playing in the AFLW. She will not only keep majority of the playing list at the Pies, but attract some decent talent to the club. The club should announce her as coach ASAP.

I’m not a big fan of this mass trading of players.
Would love the competition to settle down a bit to give the fans time to create a following with players

He was senior coach at Richmond for a long time, starting in 2000. Also assistant at Hawthorn and St Kilda. Left coaching in 2014. Who knows if he has his coaching tickets but youd assume so.

I dont think its a good move. We need people that intimately know the womans game. We didnt do that when we started and it was a mistake. Lets not repeat it.

I agree that it would not be a good move. Just sign Goddard.

Despite that, it’s good to see how much of a coverted gig it is becoming. Three years ago established footy industry names weren’t putting their hand up to coach an AFLW team.

If that's the case surely we'd just offer our first pick and if the Blues don't accept we draft her with that pick.

It's stupid that as a player out of contract, you can't just walk unless its to an expansion club. So a trade has to be done.
