Last time I looked, Bolts is only on the ground at the change of ends! Are the players not responsible for looking for alternate targets inside our forward 50?

What's he going to do micromanage the players during the game? A bit of a rush of blood and all instructions go out the window!

We are not good up forward in zone mode. There needs to be more accountability player on player until we find the firepower to consistently kick goals..

Basically the club is not much better than last year. There’s something seriously wrong with the instructional system. The game day coaching continues to be abysmal. For the fourth game this year literally the same thing all day.
The team was gassed again by 3/4 time. Dow’s decision making and skills or not, it’s not the cost of the game.

The person responsible for ensuring Gibbons was basically the main key forward for the second half is the guy in the coaches box. He just watches it happen and makes no changes then wonders why there’s no difference in result.

Dew made changes and got things to happen to help get more run and overlap. He wanted it more.

Murphy did well today I thought. Walsh and Cripps, too. But again when you’ve got some guys who should be able to run and carry on the outside in fisher and SPS and even LOB and they aren’t doing that, who’s responsible? Again the guy who’s into what game in the 66 rebuild and still gets a free pass.

Effort was there, skill a lot of times not.

Sorry but there is absolutely nothing to take away from that game that says we will be a good side one day. It was one of the worst games I’ve seen.

Players busted their ass burning energy going sideways, backwards and chasing ass. Just because they put in effort doesn’t mean it will click. Something stinks on field big time - and it’s our ****ing structures and overly complicated game plan. 4 KPF’s to sit it on Gibbons head. How the **** are Gov, McKay, Curnow and casboult supposed to have an influence when they have no idea where to run or what role they’re playing. Preach cohesion and then we just play a bullshit random structure that upsets everything.

Playing Casboult rendered McKay useless. Dumb coaching move to play four talls. That’s on Bolton. Could have done with Kennedy in the clinches today.

Feel for Dow, he’s gonna cop it but he’s still just a kid whose low on confidence. I’ll concentrate on the things he does well, some of his clearances have been Danger like this season, his kicking well John Butcher comes to mind. He’ll improve. Gutted we lost.
