Movie Star Wars - Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker - Spoilers and Rumors

Disney and the Democratic Hollywood SJWists are not going to let that happen.

Disney needs an iconic villain far more than it needs a hero. The only problem is Daisy is only 5’7, so she couldn’t project power from her stature...she would have to be super agile, like the way Darth Maul was.

If they did it the right way, it would be this generations “I am your father” moment. Still have Palpatine as the puppet master the way he was with Vader.

Rey is said to be 19/20 in the sequel trilogy, so you’ve got a villain who can be played by any female martial artist in a mask for at least 40 years worth of stories.

Good guys are a dime a dozen. Bad guys (or girls) that you can actually relate to, feel sorry for and can be seen as the anti-hero are worth their weight in gold.

Abrams specifically said that this movie would be about “the sins of the father”.

What father is he talking about? Vader. After all, the entire Skywalker saga is meant to be about Anakin.

The verse says “The sins of the father shall be visited upon the sons.”

Who is the son? Ben Solo.

What sin did Anakin commit? Betraying Palpatine. And what better way to make Anakin pay for his sins than firstly making Ben turn to the dark side before letting him know that he was a fool, and then killing him and ending the Skywalker line forever?

The “thousand generations” that Luke talks about are that of his family. Yoda says that the Force runs strong in his family...hence why Anakin, Luke and Leia are powerful Force users.

What about Shmi?

Who knows? Maybe she cut herself off from the Force and hid Luke on Tattooine. Maybe someone severed her connection. The Force specifically chose Shmi in retaliation for Plagueis’ attempt to create life, and that reason was her lineage being a family of strong Force users.

It would be interesting if we found out that the Skywalker family were strong Force sensitives for a very long time whereas Rey is literally a bastard child created by the dark side and her parents literally were Plagueis and Sidious.

Like, what if Kylo’s helmet was being remade for Rey, and the bad guy moving forward is actually a bad girl? It would be the greatest twist, because it would basically give you the feelings that you were meant to get from Anakin’s fall to the dark side without the expectation of it. The general populace wouldn’t see it coming.

Would people buy into a female version of Darth Vader?

I don’t believe Shmi cut herself off from the force. I’d suggest her death had a fair bit to do with it instead.

I don’t believe Shmi cut herself off from the force. I’d suggest her death had a fair bit to do with it instead.

I was obviously referring to why Qui-Gon Jinn didn’t look at her as a potential Force sensitive when he was talking to her about Anakin.

Everyone has a connection to the Force. Sometimes it’s latent and manifests itself as luck, as in the case of Han Solo. “In my experience there’s no such thing as luck,” says Obi Wan.

But since Luke could cut himself off from the Force, there’s no reason why once Shmi discovered she was pregnant she was able to do the same thing as a way of protecting Anakin.

It is stated through canon that Shmi and Anakin were owned by Gardulla the Hutt before Watto won them in a bet when Anakin was three.

What isn’t stated is when Shmi was sold into slavery. It’s entirely possible that she did so voluntarily because it was the will of the Force, which is why she said to Anakin that her place and future was as a slave.

If you consider Anakin as a kind of Messiah figure, Jesus’ parents were told by an angel to flee to Egypt (coincidentally another desert area like Tattooine) to protect him. And the Israelites had been slaves in Egypt.

I’m not sure she would have voluntarily chosen that way for her and son. But in terms of when she became a slave, wouldn’t that have occurred when Watto won her?

Why not? The slave bracelet would be a perfect security device for anyone who tried to take her or Anakin away by force. It would ensure that as long as both of them did their jobs they would be safe.

It was only when Lars freed her that she died, don’t forget.

As for the other bit, she was a slave before that. She was owned by Gardulla the Hutt, who lost her and Anakin to Watto when he was 3.

The question is when in canon (not legends) she was actually sold into slavery.

the most popular theory of the title is as explained in this video. which is that "skywalker" is a new order, to replace the jedi.

but imo, the skywalker rising is luke, an ascension.

That would be absolutely ****ed.

Skywalkers to replace the name 'Jedi' ?!

Jesus Christ, talk about shitting on the trilogy and the story - that is a ****ing horrible idea!

What if Owen and Beru escaped and those burning corpses were the stormtroopers they overpowered and Rey is like their granddaughter or something?

At this point why not might as well retcon the entire lore

from reddit....

I can not confirm if this any of this is true. My uncle worked for Lucas Films during The Writing and Production of The Force Awakens. He left after The Force Awakens. He has not worked with them since. My uncle is a know troll at times.

He called me about 2 hours ago. He has given rough outlines and rumors. And other odds and ends. He did Spoil the Force Awakens for me. He in the past gave me old fake plot lines that Disney was using for Star Wars to prevent actual leaks.

He told me today that the Popular 4Chan leak and info about broadcasting a Message and the adventure tone of Episode 9. He heard is true for the most part. From a source he used to work with. That still works at Lucas Films and they are pissed about it.

My Uncle also said. That he was told that the name of Rise Of The Skywalkers meaning. Supposedly when Kylo Rey and Palpatine face off. Kylo redeems his self and dies at the hands of Palpatine. Rey injuries Palpatine. In his last act Palpatine sends Rey through to the other dimension that was used as plot lines in Star Wars Rebal tv Show. In doing so Rey ends up in the past. She lands on a dessert planet and forgets who she is. Rey turns out to be Shmi Skywalker. She is the beginning of the Skywalker Blood Line.

I do not believe it and I believe he is trolling. But I thought I would share it for a read and a laugh with all of you guys.

EDIT

I reached out to my Uncle to ask his friend at Lucas Films. He finally respond with these short Answers.

Rey was part of a cloning program For Palpatine for a Host for him and as female host to try to create another Anakin.

Rey is sent to the past 12 years before Anakins birth. She forgets who she is and her force powers are blocked. Only word she remembers is Skywalker. People who find her name Her Shmi.

Palpatine and Rey are the creators of the Skywalker Bloodline

Palpatine also went to the past also and land else where. So during the whole Skywalker Saga there is 2 Darth Sidious. One died on Death Star 2. The other was alive the whole time. He was healing and regaining his strength. He has been in a hibernation like state. Doesn’t explain how there is 2 in the first place though.

Leia hid secret old rebel info in C3PO. That is part of the journey they take.

Rey goes to a few accident ruins. Trying to learn different truths about the true nature of the force and other stuff.

That’s all I was told I have asked for more. When I get it I will update the post.

Other dimensions...

Jesus ******* Christ.
The World Between Worlds. From Rebels. Already Canon. Fans feared once LF created this time-travel into SW that it'd open a can of worms, they'd play with it and it'd alter SW lore. Look at the tidbits of leaks/rumors already, of retconning the past.

If you think about it, Ahsoka has saved the entire universe three times now: 1. During the Mortis arc in The Clone Wars, Obi-Wan tells Ahsoka that Anakin has fallen to The Son's influence and the two will wreck havoc on the universe. Ashoka dismantles a part of the ship to prevent that. 2. During the Malachor series finale, she plays a huge role in helping destroy the Sith Temple that was going to eliminate all life. 3. In World Between Worlds, she cuts the Emperor's grasp on Ezra before the Emperor can pull himself into this "nexus". He most assuredly would have destroyed both Ahsoka and Ezra and then would have had control over time and space, wrecking all hope in the galaxy.

This bit?

The whole thing sounds very religious. I'm reading that this world is related to Mortis (which is death, let's face it) and there are three inhabitants -

the Son, who is the destroyer (in Hindu, Shiva, the destroyer) and the dark side of the Force

the Daughter, who is the creator (in Hindu, Brahma, the creator) and the light side of the Force

and the Father, who maintains balance (in Hindu, Vishnu, the preserver) and the balance between the two

It's not time travel per se. It's more going outside of the multiverse (which includes time) and then having the ability to enter back into any universe at any point. I said from the very start that The Last Jedi was very symbolic in mysticism and that's why I loved it so much.

Time is only linear if you are looking at it in four dimensions. This will explain it:

If you take this to it's conclusion - you can understand why its 'A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away'...

I’m pretty confident they won’t got that insane. It’s one thing to do it in a cartoon aimed at kids, another to do it a movie aimed at people of all ages. Of course, I didn’t think anyone at Lucasfilm was stupid enough to put robot Darth Maul in a movie, yet Filoni did.
It's also a scenario that didn't actually bring anyone back from the dead or change events, but people are ignoring that.
