Great ins, Connor probably a tad stiff as he played a decent game last week (Still don't see him making it though).

If we play like we did against Port we should win well against the Swans, they have been garbage of late. HOwever, they have started the season poorly in recent seasons only to jump into form later on. We should go in with confidence, but can't take them too lightly.

That's, uh, exactly what happens.

He was in the best 22 the last 4 weeks, but we've now decided he's more in the best 26.

At the risk of sounding like a smartass..... You uh kinda throw away the rule book when you're heading into a 4 day break.

I have a question. What is it with sides and being accurate against us this season? This is worse than last year! Including the two preseason games, teams have scored a combined total of 88 goals and 51 behinds against us. A differential of 37! Mind you, this figure includes the rushed behinds that is scored.

I am so over it. Sydney is at 42 goals and 46 behinds right now, so if they now straighten up then something is wrong. They kicked 11 goals 1 against us last year so this is getting tiring. I don’t know if it is that teams are just finding their accuracy against us or whether our defenders are giving them shots from easy places too often.

I like Jack, you can't fault his toughness and he tackles.

Agree, but a lot of people want Castagna dropped because he is a small forward who tackles but doesn't kick goals, however there are people melting here because our midfielder Graham who tackles but can't get the ball is dropped.

Let's be serious, they are both on the fringe.

Don’t know what selection committee are thinking dropping a big body against a big bodied midfield, I’d understand dropping him if Cotchin were coming back as well but what the heck are they thinking?
Against an ageing Swans.
We're going back too our tac roots.
Speed kills.

Michaels I called it. Not surprised that Graham got dropped. With Ross in the side now, who offers as much defensively, Graham doesn't get enough ball and isn't hitting the scoreboard eniugh to justify selection. Only mid you could realistically drop for Dusty.

Anyone reckon the Swans look slow? I do. Assuming that is why we're going with Menadue over Graham. Jack Graham likes the big stage and I bet he's back for Anzac eve.
Yeah - I think we beat them with pace

Have thought about this and it would seem the style of defence we play there are alot of goals where the ball gets out the back, obviously it's hard to miss from there. Also given we are bottom of the free kick ladder I assume there are alot of frees in front of goal. Also again the style of defence means that other sides generally seem to come at us down the middle meaning they have a set shot directly in front.

Yeah I think you are right. It’s just so annoying to watch other sides get goals far more often than they miss against us.
