Curnow had a knock to his right knee at training on Thursday and experienced some soreness. As a result, the decision was made to withdraw Curnow for today’s game.

Curnow will continue to be monitored throughout the upcoming week, with the Club expecting the young forward to be available for selection next week.

Levi and Polson In the same forward line means we can’t win ... will be happy to be proven wrong but I doubt it...both liabilities and I would suspect to be proven right by the end of the day !

I hope the players don’t feel as deflated about CC being out as we do. All we ask is a bit of continuity for our 3 main forwards in this early part of their time together, ffs.

Today will come down to how well we handle the Dogs pressure. We didn’t cope very well last week but I hope we’ve learnt from it. Suspect it’ll be up another notch today.

I was rocked by our performance last week, but I do think good will come from it and I expect a much better showing today.

Curnow on an off day is still good for 10-15 touches up the ground. He was poor last week and still got it 17 times. Cas is unfortunately pretty one dimensional.

Pretty flat about this late out.

Ah well - go blues. We have them covered for height and body size across the ground, so feeling confident if we can make it somewhat of a combination of 1 on 1s.
