Something I really loved today was Jones game. Only 5 touches but he has done exactly what we needed him to do and play a lot more conservative. He has been brilliant this season

I was so excited after the richmond game that this type of performance was just around the corner but then broken in the weeks since to a point where I didn't believe it would happen this year. Genuinely excited to have been proven wrong, it is only 1 game but it has me looking forward to the possibility it will happen again and more frequently.

1st game for the year with multiple 30+ touch mids and only the 2nd time after the richmond game we have had 10 players touch it 20+ times, hopefully guys like Setterfield, Cuningham, Kennedy, Williamson can come in and do the same and charlie of course.

I’m not worried about Dow’s kicking. It’s all in his head, so it can come good from one game to the next.

Loving his clearance work and burst from the centre. Also has a physical presence around the ground for such a young player.

JSOS did what JSOS does and he’s definitely earned his games which is good.

Gibbon’s looks a much better player up the ground. Liking his ball use. It’s a tough gig being a permanent fwd. They might just have too rotate mids through there until they can recruit natural forwards with the freakish skills.
