So reports suggest we've got 150m pounds to spend.

Any genuine reports or suggestins, dream scenarios for the off season?
I don’t see why not. I read it was £60m plus any funds we generate from sales. £150m doesn’t actually buy you a huge amount these days when you consider Palace have slapped an £80m price tag on Zaha and Coutinho cost an absurd £150m

What an ugly performance this has been for 66 mins. Looking at the bench and there’s really nothing left

Defenders + DM + Skipp + Banished ST

It’s this xi or bust for the rest of the season pretty much. Sissoko for Wanyama in a few weeks but it’s still very pedestrian

Luckily for us Everton Ajax and Bournemouth aren’t as comfortable as Brighton at dealing with slow play and constant crossing. West ham will love this though

The teams left won’t park the bus. They’ll cause us more problems but least we won’t have two banks of five to get through. We just don’t have the dynamic play anymore for it like Liverpool and City do. 15/16 and 16/17 we did.

Yeah it’s not their style and Llorente can cause aerial problems against suspect sides like them

Just need a Che v Utd draw now.
That’d leave us needing just 4 points
Assuming City beat Utd, then we want Utd to beat Chelsea and we will be 6 points and 10+ GD in front assuming we take care of West Ham.

That’s the perfect result. Wouldn’t need any more points

A win against west ham with united getting the Chelsea win but a city loss and we are 99.99% chance of being safe.

Really have to do our job against the pikeys in their cup final

Can add an arsenal loss against Leicester now to certain top 4 qualification if we beat the hammers.

Could do full squad rotation against Bournemouth in that case which would be great!

Yeah a win and an arsenal loss and we are set. West ham will make it a physical battle so we can’t take any risks

Lloris
Trippier Toby JV Davies
Dier Wanyama
Dele Eriksen Lucas
Son

Wouldn’t start Llorente against them. Also wouldn’t risk Winks we need him for Ajax. He is a must have with Sissoko out in the a european tie. Personally I hate that CM duo but it’s obvious Poch doesn’t rate Skipp just yet. Maybe if Lamela is fit he can come in for one of them with dele dropping deeper

Assuming no new injuries that would allow for this against Ajax

Lloris
Foyth Toby Sanchez JV Rose
Eriksen Winks Dele
Llorente Lucas

Wanyama for Winks if not fit

Reckon Wanyama for Winks wouldn’t be the worst considering the opposition.

Need to be physical against them and not allow there ‘pretty’ football.

Need to turn the game into a scrap

I just don’t think Wanyama could handle another start days after west ham which he has to play if winks or Lamela aren’t right.

Also we’ve got to be a bit ruthless with these chronically injured players. Obviously Kane stays despite his ankle. But Winks (groin), Wanyama (knee) & Lamela (everything) can’t be trusted and 2/3 have to be sold

Lamela I think is gone in the summer. Even when fit he rarely does a good enough job.

I said some time ago there would be big changes this summer and I still reckon there will be. I reckon 6-8 of the current squad are gone

WR my man, you rightly bristled at the suggestion from JD a few weeks back that we should be wary of Burnley. Of course we shouldn't have. They're crap.
Same here with Spam. Small club, irrelevant club, they should be curb stomped.

Sadly the little pikeys will get up for their final

You can’t compare West Ham with Burnley. They get 55,000 every week and are an established top flight club. They’ve got some good players, and with our injuries it will be a tighter match than I think you believe.

By being disrespectful you open yourself up to having some serious egg on your face. By all means be confident, just think sometimes your confidence can come over as arrogance

Burnley played in Europe this year. Something west ham haven’t done for 4 or 5 years. Similar mid table club currently. Sure they’ve got history and were given a stadium but in terms of football ability they’re both in that rung below Wolves and Everton and two below the top 6

I said the exact opposite. I literally said it will be a hard game cos it’s their cup final. I’m expecting it to be close.

It shouldn’t be cos their squad is shit but it will be cos they’ll get up for it

West Ham have been in Europe 2 seasons in a row in recent years (within the last five years). Remember they got knocked out both times pre group stage by the same team from Moldova or some place like that. Was pretty funny

You could make the argument that we’re that way with Arsenal though. They seem to be as much bothered by us than we are with them admittedly.

West Ham are just trying to find their place like any other team. Got a big break with the stadium, although not being a purpose built one is not good. Still will benefit them overall.

Lol yeah in qualifying rounds I do remember that
