Has backwards compatibility been confirmed?

Probably one of those awkward cross-generational release titles that comes out on PS4 and PS5, looking better on the latter but which many will still buy for the former.Does this mean cyberpunk will be pushed back to coincide with ps5 release?

Hence backwards compability makes it a fairly early buy for me. I get to finish my PS4 list and also take advantage of a new PS5 game and features. Best of both worlds.Don’t think I’m ready for next gen.
Still very much happy with what we’ve got.

As long as the price is under $850 AUD, anything more and Il hold off a bit.
No but I imagine they will have a few good launch showpiece games and who knows what the other features might be?what if the only good game at launch is a remaster of Horizon Zero Dawn or some shit, would you buy it for $800?
dumb question........does backward compatibility work with digital purchases?
