Starts tonight with the ANZAC Day eve (not sure why this is even a thing TBH).

Bit of a win win for us as far as I'm concerned... Richmond lose and they go 3-3. Melbourne lose and they go 1-5 which means they'd almost have to go undefeated for the rest of the year to make top 4!

Expecting Richmond to get up but could be close.

Yep. Dees could go 1-5 and the meltdowns would be amazing. Basically season done and dusted. On the other hand you have the tigers who should win easily given the dees form and their outs. If they lose the melts would also be amazing. Win/Win all round for neutrals tonight.

This game looks a lot like I expect our game to go.
I reckon Essendon will throw everything at us and we will hang in there.
But the quality will eventually break their back.

Truth be told.
I’d have loved Nick Riewoldt as much as any other player. We probably win and extra flag or two with him.

My own little observation which I’ve posted before:

The great one year difference.

Mr and Mrs Fraser having baby Josh one year later.

Mr and Mrs Riewoldt having Nick one year earlier.

We’d get Nick as draft pick 1;
They’d take Josh the next year.

They’d still be flagless and we’d likely have won a couple extra.
