Thank God for the 75,000 Bomber fans that attended today. Made it a spectacle.

Just think, that was a monster crowd today. But still 3,000 down on Richmond v.'s GWS.

Your team hasn’t looked like winning a prelim for 30 years. No wonder all your bandwagoners came out of the woodwork for it.

Haven't played a final at the mcg in front of a crowd under 90,000 in god knows how long.

What’s that, like 6 or 7 games in 36 years? It’s like a freak show, people like the novelty.

Before 2017 it was almost 4 decades. How old are you?

Speaking of sad freaks I wish I had’ve seen the Elephant Man for real.
The true tears of despair would’ve been heart wrenching.

95 percent Tigers on Friday,60 percent Bombers today going by the sea of red and black.
Exactly Smasha.

So for the sake of the Pies fan (gopies1981) and the 2-3 Geelong supporters who live vicariously through Collingwood, I'll break down the maths for you.

95% of 73,000 (or 0.93 x 73,000) = 67,890 Richmond supporters on Wednesday night

If we assume 5% neutrals at today's Anzac Day game, 35% pies out of 92,000 = 32,200 Collingwood supporters today

Strangely, gopies1981 is celebrating like they've won the flag.

Alot of neutrals go to todays game because it’s Anzac Day.

Spot the Pie fan on the TV.:D

Lol glad you count every single person who attends the game and who they support. Essendon home game btw like last year when their were 60,000 Collingwood fans. But don’t worry we are averaging 12,000 more people per game then Richmond. Unlike Richmond we can actually draw over 60,000 v interstate clubs during the home and away season. So what makes you think that since Richmond have never drawn over 60,000 v an interstate club that they can 60,000 supporters to a regular home and away game.

By round 8 Collingwood will be 100,000 in front of Richmond and Richmond will be behind Essendon. 66533A86-C353-42A1-8CF4-6919BCBC4CFA.jpeg

Lol so their were only 5,000 Melbourne fans?? Ok

I was at the game would of been 50,000 Richmond 15,000 Melbourne and 7,000 neutrals

Cannot wait till round 18 when Collingwood show Richmond that we are by far the biggest club. You will be outnumbered 3-1 66533A86-C353-42A1-8CF4-6919BCBC4CFA.jpeg

Tigers still yet to post any concrete evidence and are just hoping their emotions, opinions and personal beliefs are enough to hoodwink everyone in their favour. :straining:

Only 37000 at last nights game lmao, on the biggest night of the weekend, Friday night. Roof closed

A mate playing for port so went along. At least 7,000 port supporters.

So only 30000 meek beta Pies supporters.

L M F A O

So sad.

The last time you played Port at home (at the MCG no less, not even shitty Marvel Stadium), there was a humongous 27k there. 10k less at a better venue. SAD!

Lol Collingwood bigger then Richmond on ever social media forum and fan surveys!!! Why is that? Maybe look at this years attendance’s which show that Collingwood once again are the undisputed biggest club.
Only reliable stat

Richmond 99,427
Collingwood 79,127

Were pulling away with our whole leadership group out with long term injuries, while Collingwood last years runners up and current flag favourites are playing at their absolute best.

Looks like there is still only one team that can pull 100k members in the competition, damn were still to find another team that can crack 90k.

The problem with using social media as a judge of anything is anyone can open numerous accounts under different names at no cost, even Collingwoods various minimum price, zero game memberships are not keeping them in touch with Richmond.

The sleeping giant was only stirring, this is 2019

Before the start of this round we’ve had 75k more people attend our games this season, when does the stirring actually start?

Yeah, but we’re actually going to games, so there’s that.
Collingwood have had 5 out of 7 games at the G so far, Richmond have played at GWS, AO and marvel and only had 2 home games at the G.

Roy can’t count. Round 6, 2016, 27077.

Port gets bigger home crowds. SAD!
Nice backfire post ilksy.
Only 37k were at your Friday night home game v Power:$ Port got 38k at their home game against Richmond:think:, you're right Port get bigger home games than Collingwood:$
