So Gibbs isn't actually confirmed out yet? He could fly into Melbourne on his own tonight. Will probably still miss knowing our luck.

This is a problem
The backline already has holes
Are we prepared to throw Murphy back ?
Before last weeks game I would say yes
Does Sloane go back ? Maybe
Puts Poholke in the preferred mid role
I think Mackay is definitely half back and Knight/Gallucci will be wing.

The worse part is Gallucci AND Jones are both travelling. Both could end up not playing at all for 2 weeks in a row.
surely we can't be that incompetent.

I'd play them both. I reckon when you play multiple youngsters they feed off each other and compete with each other, whereas when you just play one they can go into their shells

What usually happens is they'll leave the ground when the final team is named and fly back tonight, or at very latest early tomorrow.

Gibbs out.

Not quite... he's just not on the flight but if he recovers in time, they'll fly him in tonight!

Experienced Crow Bryce Gibbs will not travel with the team on Friday afternoon as he’s given extra time to overcome a bout of gastro.

If he can recover from his illness, the 30-year-old will join his side in Melbourne on Friday night.

Chayce Jones and Jordan Gallucci will travel with the team as the two emergencies.

Adelaide will take on St Kilda at Marvel Stadium on Saturday afternoon from 4.35pm AEST.

When i heard gastro I automatically assumed they'd leave him out.

They should.

It will **** me off even more if it has spread through the Club.
It's difficult because by the time he realises he has it, it's generally too late. I'm hoping he came down with it on their day off which would save a lot of the players.

That leaves us with no emergency at the ground, we always have one.
It's likely they'll catch the first flight. I heard CEY talking at Unley after the Sydney game..... he flew back during the game.

During the game means it’s started, there is no way we would have someone fly back in the morning for a 4pm game. Can you imagine potentially going into the game one short because you sent your emergency home?

Sorry, I meant we would fly one back tonight but not both assuming Gibbs plays.

If he doesn't then one misses both games.
