Really interested to see how Mirkov goes here. Up against Campbell who while a real battler is a big-bodied, experienced journeymen type who would still fancy himself to outmuscle Mirkov in the ruck and outwork him around the ground.

Good test to see where he's at against a depth AFL-level ruck.

Harvey Gallagher, 18yo, 179cm, 77kg, a member of Young Guns team who defeated Vic Metro in a recent trial game.
playing as 23rd player in Carlton vfl team this Sunday.

Bendigo Pioneers forward Harvey Gallagher was another standout for the Young Guns, booting 5.3 from 15 disposals and seven marks in attack.
Gallagher, who has been doing some work with Carlton’s VFL side, kicked goals from set shots as well as snaps on the run as he continues to develop after suffering injuries in each of his first two NAB League games this year.
“He’s probably still just coming into peak fitness and I think he’ll be better for the run,” Bendigo Pioneers coach Danny O’Bree said.
“He not only knows where the goals are but he’s a really good lead-up forward too and he takes the opportunities where he has them.”
 
Great to see Honey back, Dow Fogarty Kemp Marchbank Williamson Philp Boyd Akuie Setterfield Mirkov make it 11 of our listed players playing this week…

Williams McKay McGovern Martin Parks Pitonett Cunners Newnes Curnow McDonald unavailable this round…

Honey will need a good block of quality games under his belt before being considered, Marchbank hopefully just a couple more…

Dow continues the strong form would also like to see him incorporate taking the game on a bit more with run and carry, better balance of kick/handball ratio…

Kemp and Philp would be good to see these two start to take it up another level, both have strong traits to their games that would be just great to finally see more regularly…

Mirkov to keep learning, like the way Boyd goes about it really stiff to not be playing in the firsts, has some good qualities in his game…

Williamson to continue his development on a wing we need to learn if he has the ability to bettering his overall game and possibly saving his career…
