Good to see Ace's form getting recognised.
Been a pleasant surprise, has sure improved a heap.

Last 5 rounds - 16 disposals, 5 marks, 3.5 tackles, kicked 8 goals. Excellent speed and pressure too.

Still think we need Rory down back
Please. I can’t watch Graham again. I thought he might have turned a bit of a corner after the Darwin games where he did his role, but he has been well below average (of back to normal?) the last few weeks. He just isn’t keeping up with his player.

Wow that selection 🤛 me in the face, Sharp and Hollands must be scratching their heads. Best of luck young fella
Different roles, Fiorini would be the one pissed.

All year we've had Ellis and 1 extra midfielder on the other wing Swallow/Fiorini early, Powell/Markov recently now Bowes is named there

Different roles but also Hollands has been struggling, while Tsitas has been consistent all year. Although I didn't expect that choice either replacing a struggling player in Davies with a struggling Hollands would be equally as frustrating. Hopefully the coaches made the right choice.

All that said, I'd still be playing Hollands, even if he has been struggling. He's got to get games into him. Sooner he gets games into him, the better.
I do agree, but the same could be said for Davies and everyone wanted him dropped (including myself) and rightfully so due to him struggling. In saying that Hollands will have his chance soon and I hope he dominates to retain his spot, I don't want to lose him and have a Will Brodie 2.0

Hollands could be struggling about mentally.

Knowing he has deserved a spot the past 6weeks yet never got one..

Rumours were they were getting him ready to unleash him post bye..?
Yet still no hollands. 🤷🏽‍♂️

If u can play Davis who is a 1trick pony you can play Hollands who can play any position.

I think they must have wanted a mature hardened body against Collingwood. That's why l think they went with Tsitas.

I really wanted Lukosius and Thompson in. They are very important to our structure.
We'll have to wait until next week for Luko to return against the Tigers. Thompson is completely dependent on which Caleb Graham decides to show up on Saturday night. If Crab is awful then Thompson goes straight in even if he has an average game in the VFL. If Crab is decent and we win then he probably keeps his spot and Rory has to wait.

Huge game for us.

After last weeks disappointment, we really need to win to stay in contact with the 8 (finals!), but also gives us some national FTA TV coverage.

It's time to make a statement.

One question for you all though...What's with 'cheat code'?

Name of his personal training business.

On the game, we just need Jimmy T to play his role.
Get in the right position on defense, put on pressure, stick the tackle when you should stick the tackle, win some one on one ball when the opportunity is there, and if you get the ball make the simple decision and execute (hit an open target, no open target then try to kick to a players advantage).
If he does that, will be playing next week.

Not overly confident with this one. The one thing getting me through is the footy we played against freo every time it rained. Rowell and miller thrived in the conditions and chol was unreal for a big fella.

Collingwood is mostly healthy and play some very good footy but so Suns. It should be a good battle. Home ground advantage Suns. Crowd advantage Collingwood.

They jumped us and opened up on multiple occasions at MCG. I am sure we learned from it and adjust. We need to slow them down in transition.

It will be wet but no crazy storm wet. Probably territory battle similar to Freo game.

Chol to dominate in wet. Yes, please.

Latest look at the forecast weather and it seems like it will be very wet around midday but by game time just some lighter showers maybe. Hopefully it will be clear for the large crowd expected, even if they are Collingwood supporters 😄

Looking back at the Fremantle game earlier this year, the conditions were virtually completely dry in the first quarter and it was essentially a stalemate where we kicked 2.1 (13) to Fremantle's 2.3 (15). Then the rain really started to come down in the second quarter and we kicked 3.4 (22) to their single behind but I think the most telling period was the third and fourth quarters where it was still soggy conditions but there really wasn't much rain falling from the sky. In the second half we kicked 5.4 (34) to their 2.5 (17) and really dominated them. So whether it's drizzling or absolutely bucketing down tomorrow night, we have evidence to suggest we're going play really well in either of those conditions.

Only difference i guess is freo would have rarely trained or played in wet weather over pre-season and early rounds whereas Collingwood are a bit more used to it.
We need to be switched on tomorrow from the bounce. Can’t afford to get behind.

Collingwood also beat Fremantle the week after at Optus in the wet

Probably one of the better wins, I was not expecting it. Freo thought it was wise to play dry weather footy in the wet..
