Rubbish omission. JSOS ain’t a one trick pony and offers more than quite a few names in the side, even more so without needing to play second ruck.
Unless there are mind games,I don’t see any positive spin from proclaiming it an omission as opposed to being managed.
No doubt there's some overlap between the roles JSOS and TDK would play, but I don't think they're exactly the same. JSOS is a far stronger link player, for example (which has nothing to do with his name).Think Voss made it pretty clear about JSOS today...
His main role is the 3rd ruck/forward, in this role he is no doubt behind TDK...
Some here and in the media are being quite hysterical...
If his name wasn't Silvagni, and was say Plowman doubt many, if any would have blinked an eye...
As for him being out over Durdin, Owies and Motlop... They don't even play the same role...
With the 3 small forwards and 3 tall forwards in
they are going to bring some serious heat to opposition defenders if the ball hits the ground something JSOS doesn't offer...

Most importantly knows where to run. Lot more to being a quick footballer than speed.Jacks problem is that he looks like he is running through knee deep mud. Looks a struggle. In reality he has a reasonable tank and can run at pace.
Considering he’s the 16th best key forward in the game but has been playing ruck that’s pretty gd.How good are we travelling when JSOS is our fourth best tall fwd*?
* Obviously TDK in 3rd position due to fwd/ruck flexibility
Okay, Silvagnigate is bigger than what I thought, my 88 year old mother who doesn't even follow the football just asked me why Silvagni had been dropped by the Blues, smh.
Plenty of bikers out that way, I’m sure they’ll be more than accommodating!Well just found out that my flight to Adelaide tomorrow afternoon has been cancelled and they can't get me on another flight so looks like I'm driving. If you see a clown in a really tiny car tearing up the Western Hwy tomorrow afternoon give me a toot!

JSOS Honey Martin Dow Carroll Durdin Marchbank is a very strong VFL Side. Watch them destroy Willo this weekend.I'm glad JSOS is getting a much needed rest.
This will be a good test, for who fits in to our best 22.
Competition for spots heating up, with Marchbank, Martin, Williams etc. on the sidelines.
JSOS will be back in next week. Take it to the bank.

Vossy seemed keen to point out that Zac Williams is close to getting back as well.
Selection will be pretty tough in the next couple of weeks.

Sounds like he trained all last week and I reckon they would have given him a good workout.I don’t understand how owies can come straight back in. Match fitness 100%?
One of the best things about Pitto being back is he and TDK can be the relief kick / down the line marking option for the majority of games, leaving both Harry and Charlie closer to the F50 at all times.
Charlie and Harry with more genuine 1-on-1 opportunities is the dream
Still think you back your players no matter if it's your captain or number 46 on the list.Makes sense why the club didn't challenge the Hayes suspension
If JSOS is getting dropped hayes is a long way off [emoji1787]

Jsos and newnes are definitely travelling, not sure about honey1 sub and 2 emergencies will travel. My guess is Honey, SOS and Newnes will go to adelaide so won't play.
Should still have Dow, Marchbank, Fogarty, Kemp, Durdin, Stocker, Mirkov, Martin, Carroll though which is the foundation of a solid team plus our VFL guys looked good last week.

Can't think of a scenario where I am more excited by Willims than Jack.Vossy seemed keen to point out that Zac Williams is close to getting back as well.
