How is this being allowed to happen?

There are fresh draftees to enter that club this year. How can they and their parents trust that Essendon won't do precisely the same thing again?

How can Essendon people - whoever they are - countenance bringing him back, demostrating that they've learnt nothing?

How can the AFL stand by and allow things to even get this far?

What coaching has Hird done since 2015? What has he done with his time to lead anyone to believe he's shown some form of penitence or contrition, that they're never a bad loss to Carlton away from doing it again? What makes them think that he'll even be any good at the gig?

This whole sequence of events is truly mindblowing.

At least 5 of my stalwart Bomber mates have sworn that if Hird returns they'll ditch the club forever and walk away from footy. These are amongst my oldest friends as well as some of my cousins, adamant that their club is run by the koole aide drinking happy clappers and truly believe they are beyond the rest of the competition.
It's a disgrace, and they deserve whatever comes their way and it won't be good........

I'm all for forgiveness. Truly. We all stuff up. Every day pretty much.
Trouble is it's hard when the person has never been contrite and you have bloody Robbo slobbering all over the maybe comeback...and he, like Hird never accepted there was fault with Hird and the club.
Letting go and accepting a second chance for Hird would definitely be challenging.

Would be madness if the club didn't accept the coaching panels recommendation. Not saying that it is not possible with * special brand of Kool Aid madness.
