Watch the club trot out the "tired new dad" excuses

Seriously, we are rich. Can we not afford to get him a live in Chef?

Clearly the ship of "getting him to watch his own nutrition" has long since sailed.......

Nic had a knee operation roughly two months ago and watching that training snippet he’s clearly still working his way through rehabilitation

It’s mid October. Official preseason training is still 6 weeks away. There’s plenty of time

Clearly he and his teammates are starting training well before time, it’s a good thing

This is why it was annoying they played Nic in the last month of the season. Shouldve just put him in for surgery in Round 18 and given him a 4-6 week head start on his preseason.

Something new? Doesnt bode well if its been 8 months and still in rehaab

Not sure - he didn’t say. Sure is a long time out for an ankle injury.

Chesser was back in full training by the end of the year so don't know what he would be in rehab for now unless they're being conservative with him. Kid looks like a solid unit, if he doesn't make it it won't be through lack of effort.

Lads rolling out the potato sack training wear again this pre-season. You love to (not be able to) see it

Hope Chesser is firing and ready to go. Heard on Will Schofield’s podcast he was still in rehab.

I don't think that's unusual for tendon injuries - they take a long time to come good. It doesn't mean he's not able to exercise, maybe that he has 10% left to go.

Meh, pass judgement when everyone is in the official New Balance gear and not oversized trash.

I'd be well and truly removing any feathers from Rohans cap if the injury prone player he selected with our first pick last year, is rolling out to his second pre season injured once again, after already missing his entire first season.

I realize the ankle was hardly Chessers fault, but you do get those unlucky types who simply cannot stay on the park. There's always a muscle, or a shoulder, an ankle, or contact from training. The Tom Joyce types. Really hope Chesser isn't one of those. Past 3 years of evidence don't look great.

I love it tbh. I'm partial, because when I trained off season, or when I used to be a gym rat, I'd wear the shittest baggy t-shirts and the shittest tennis shoes.

It's an aesthetic choice for sure, but I always loved the guys who wore garbage but were absolute units.

Guarantee Dark Sharks wears squat-proof leggings, despite not doing squats.
