I don’t personally think AhChee is an automatic selection anymore.
IMO he's a best 22 wingman for us this year once he's fit.

No doubt that he will get games this year.IMO he's a best 22 wingman for us this year once he's fit.
With the amount of unrest brewing in Poort supporter ranks, Kenny might be too busy looking over his shoulder…I'm wondering whether Kenny will do his pre game we're out to get Lachie interview again.
Disappointed if he's put it to bed just because of a bit of bad press and egg on his face.
Give it another go Kenny. Doesn't need to be specific ,just say we're going after one of their Captains. Or if you want it to be a bit more vague someone in their leadership group.
Hasn't he been in the firing line for years now ... is it any different this time around? With the amount of unrest brewing in Poort supporter ranks, Kenny might be too busy looking over his shoulder…View attachment 1627117

As the starting winger though??
The only lock when fit is Berry, the rest including AhChee, Robertson, Prior, Tunstill, Fletcher, Sharp and we have others already in the team that can play the role like Wilmot and Ashcroft.
I just can’t see that he is a lock at all.
I agree with many others that he is the perfect sub and may get many games throughout the year through that means.
But definitely not a 22 lock imo.

This will be the 4th year that we have been waiting for him to really solidify his spot in the team.Just wait![]()

I like Cal and I am a man with patience so I will keep on waiting.
He doesn't get enough possessions. It's either that he isn't getting to spots that demand the ball or that the teams aren't using the wings as much as they should be, which wouuld go back onto coaching to train them to use them more. I am hoping that this pre-season they were instructed to.Think we need our wings to be versatile. They need to be able to zone and keep space effectively and have the ability to go back and defend or go forward and snag a goal. Ah Cheese versatility makes him the perfect wing with the new gameplan.
Didn’t look like it, watching the Geelong praccy match. He doesn't get enough possessions. It's either that he isn't getting to spots that demand the ball or that the teams aren't using the wings as much as they should be, which wouuld go back onto coaching to train them to use them more. I believe he was refering to the team's use of the wings not Cal's ability in the position there...I believe they are talking about Ah Chee. Are you thinking of someone else
Cal did not play in the Geelong praccy match or the Swans match
What Viceregal said. It was really noticeable that we neglected our wings, even when they were wide open and a clear best option.I believe they are talking about Ah Chee. Are you thinking of someone else

I was initially referring to Cal then progressed to our wings more generally when thinking if our team doesn't use them as much as other teamsI believe he was refering to the team's use of the wings not Cal's ability in the position there...
Poort lost their first five games last year…Trouble with playing Port round 1 is you get them before the crushing disappointment... they still have hope. Only beat them by 11 at the Gabba last year Round 1.
Could go either way.
I think we took a step up in the final vs Melbourne though and if we can play close to that 2nd half then we'll be ok.
You have nailed it in my opinion. He has all the weapons but can't get the ball.He doesn't get enough possessions.
