Why are folks saying it’s Buku or Lobb tonight? It’s both for mine, one forward/2nd ruck, one 3rd defender

I have never seen it with Garcia but I hope we stick with giving the younger guys a run of games. Long term gains could be worth it.

My issue is that he’s a midfielder who’s primarily been used as a small forward in the AFL. Same with West, we haven’t been able to see them in their proper role for any decent time

Buku hasn't played in defence the last two years, no chance we'd bring him into the seniors in that role now

Bevo said in his presser that it’d be one of them coming in for Darcy and talked specifically about Khamis’ goal kicking.

I have no clue why. Maybe the Footscray coach sees his main job as getting wins for Footscray and a secondary purpose is developing players for the Western Bulldogs. I don’t see it that way but the coach may see himself in the win loss business. Then again he could well see himself as doing both.

Agree with all but the last point he is listed as 191cm and 87kg that is simply not remotely big enough to pinch hit consistently in the ruck (For context Lobb is 207cm 106kg),

It just isn't sustainable to keep him in at that role given he has little forward craft outside of a hit up lead.

For me he is the ideal target for a North who lack another foil for Larkey

North have Charlie Comben who looks very good when he gets on the paddock, and CCJ developing as the second ruck type.
I'm not sure he fits in anywhere TBH.
